It is designed to complete complex payroll processes which helps us as we grow. Cons The recruiting module. It seems to have been unrolled quickly and without much testing and thought. December 1, 2022 5.0 I am just a part-time freelance user of the software, and it seems to get the job done, but my schedule is all over the place and constant changes need to be made to my Timecard (not the same thing every day), and that makes entry more of a chore than should be necessary. That said, it seems that the software is very flexible in terms that it can be used over many departments with different needs, but like other software solutions, the more flexible a product is, the less user-friendly it often is. Pros Once you get it setup and learn it, it is relatively easy to use if you know what you are doing. Cons Not immediately intuitive to the new user and seem to need to know a good deal of information from the operation management before you can get going. Also, would be nice to be able to save the 'notes' part of the Timesheet for reoccurring "favorite' and full for full days. Review Source MH Marc H. Pros It easily displays all employment information (pay stubs, address forms, emergency contact forms, etc). Cons The calendar function for picking up/dropping/switching shifts is very difficult to use. While it does show available shifts, it does not display the title of the shift, which may be necessary for certain industries. It also does not notify the user if a dropped/picked up shift has been approved, which is highly frustrating. October 23, 2019 5.0 Our overall Dayforce experience has been a good one. Customer Support has been great. Pros What I like most about Dayforce is that it has streamlined our processes and cut down on the amount of time we spend processing payroll, onboarding, recruiting. Reporting is much easier to use and create than HPW. Our employees are very happy with how user friendly the system is. I think we have more employees engaged now than ever. The mobile app has been a big help as well. Cons Implementation. It was challenging, but once we got through it we felt very accomplished. July 24, 2018 5.0 Much better functionality than the last Ceridian HR system we were using. Very modern, very user-friendly and encourages the self-serve functionality for clients. Pros What I like most about this software is that it's more user-friendly and can be built to suit the client/organization's needs. It's definitely more modern and more progressive in its functionality. Also the fact that everything is (or can be) paperless, is great as well. Cons The reporting and formatting of Dayforce reports can sometimes be frustrating to work with and not that visually appealing. The system can be glitchy at times with updates being pushed through - although customer support is great. Silverlight tends to crash regularly, but this won't be an issue in the future once Dayforce moves away from Silverlight. Review Source CH Cathy H. I can filter it on per month, year, or biweekly and it gives me detailed breakdowns and is easy to read. My employer has moved on from Dayforce to a different system for payroll but if it was up to me, I prefer dayforce for its user experience. Cons The UI can look a little more modern and up-to-date. However, if you aren't going to capitalize on the features, you'd very likely be better off with something a little less feature-heavy and more user-friendly. I would have loved to capitalize on the report creation features to benefit my company, however they are reserved for the highest admin level and therefore are privileges not easily granted. Pros \-Tons of useful features -Possibility of creating completely customized reports using the vast array of information collected and held by DayForce -All in one-solution for HR, Payroll, and Time-tracking software. January 17, 2018 4.0 We were able to move from five different systems and realign staff while gaining numerous efficiencies. Pros We like the total integration of the Dayforce solution. The real time feature is exactly what we were searching for. Ceridian is constantly upgrading the features. This is a huge advantage with the emerging workforce we see today. Cons The implementation process is very time consuming, but well worth it in the end. We are still working out some issues that were not set up properly, but gaining ground each day. Pros I think there is a need for software to manage and stay synchronized with active employees, so this tool definitely does the job there. Cons The interface is clunky and I feel like I have to relearn how to do things several times if you don't do them regularly. Plus it cuts out paperwork and sends email reminders to complete tasks so it helps even the biggest staff procrastinators to get their forms in. Everything is easy to understand I think it is a great resource for any company to use for benefits and managing staff with HR tasks. Pros What I like most about Dayforce is that I can easily find our HR documents to access my personal information, make changes or submit tasks that HR needs from me. It is straightforward and user friendly so finding and accessing everything I need in the software is easy for me to do. Cons I'm not sure what I like least about Dayforce now. They updated it not to long ago and made it pretty easy to navigate and fixed some bugs that they struggled with and made the layout easier to use. Really everytime I go into Dayforce it makes my life easier so I can't think of anything I dislike at this time. It is very easy to use as an employee and also as a manager. I have been able to work at both ends. As an employee, having the ability to make request on the computer was simple. Checking and approving my time was a great bonus so I am always assured I get paid the correct amount. If there was an error, I can just do it then and it will notify my supervisor.
