Pros

This is a total human capital management system

Cons

Silverlight functions phasing out means we are losing some of the user friendly functions

We're trying to mandate more use of the system and app - looking to go paperless and Dayforce is going to help

Pros

Flexibility - you are able to use the program very easily. I especially like the payroll function that allows me to verify before I process

Cons

Sometimes there are a to of steps to configuration that really aren't intuitive

### "Moved to Ceridian Dayforce to combine HR and Payroll functions"

Pros

Dayforce allows our teams to manage Time off requests, payroll requests (including the standard tax forms, direct deposit), and other HR data. Sad to say we had a three systems all doing these same tasks independently and to the detriment and frustration for the teams that manage all of this. Enter Ceridian Dayforce which allowed us to have full integration. Our managers have given positive feedback on the reporting and management of requests and changes. Our teams are more efficient and responsive now that we have implemented.

Cons

We still want there to be easier integration with performance management. We want to be able to store performance data, mid-year and annual reviews, and monthly notes based on manager interactions with team members. Hopefully this will be functionality that will exist soon.

Pros

Dayforce is very easy to navigate, I like how you can customize the home screen

Cons

The reports can take a wile to generate, would be nice if the came up faster.

Pros

The recent upgrades has made this a great tool for any HR department. I am part of a multi-level corporation. This handles everything HR. Very clean dashboard and great features. Our company is not going through annual performance reviews and the tools is great. Highly recommend this product for any company of any size.

Cons

I don' t have any. Very impressed with this product.

Streamlined some of our manual processes, better reporting options, Automatic carrier feeds, etc

Pros

It's evolving at a steady pace with features and functionality. We have been through one new release and it included a brand new benefits and payroll modules that thankfully did not replace the previous modules for now so it wasn't disruptive. We have ample time to learn the new modules before they completely replace the old. The support model has been mostly very good.

Cons

There are still some bugs with the new functionality. I wish there was more control over the data to have an efficient method of fixing records that have bad data. I also think the learning curve is long to learn the advanced reporting methods of creating new topics.

I like having the information at my fingertips and the ease of gathering payroll info from a variety of locations.

Appears to be a group of proud, company centric, team focused employees

Pros

Integrated platform. We will use it to improve our new hire/seasonal hire process. Once we launch July 2020, the next year will involve become paperless. Integrated payroll and HRIS and ability to maximize employee performance are great opportunities.

Cons

New to product-Not able to evaluate at this point. Would love to have more face to face implementation meeting with the team. Online/zoom calls are nice. Makes for a slow build and integration. 2 intense weeks with the Ceridian team would provide the needed results.

Reason for choosing Dayforce HCM

Ceridian CEO knows the product. Dedicated focus on continuous improvement. We think it fits our business model. Comparatively competitive pricing. Once we implement, we will know more. Possibility to become paperless and integrate ancillary services were also key considerations

### "Solid Software but Struggle with Support"

The sales process was standard with an excellent rep. Having said that was told that each Live Force Education package supported 3 staff. Just to be told later that was untrue and would have shell out another $1200 to get 2 more staff trained. Took weeks to get answers to my queries. Was not impressed with the after purchase treatment. Got our money and then wanted more.

Pros

The functionality was exactly as advertised.

Cons

I found the software to be fine. Issues were with customer support.

Pros

I like the all in one system concept. I had to shift my mindset as our previous system interfaced several products. Updates and changes in Dayforce happen as soon as the button is clicked. What's really great is, the system allows several pay cycles to be open at the same time. This allows changes and updates to be made daily for different cycles. Gone are the days of making payroll changes a few days before pay day. From a Benefits perspective, once a new hire has onboarded, they can immediately select their benefit elections. They don't have to wait until their information is pushed to another system. We look forward to implementing Recruiting and Performance Management this year.

Pros

I liked being able to see my schedule and paychecks right on my phone. When working multiple jobs being able to do these things on the go is crucial!

Cons

I had a bit of trouble with updating my availability/requesting time off. I eventually figured it out but there seems to be a few ways to do it!

Pros

This app centralize all the needed info for company HR related info, like payroll, vacation schedules, etc. Simple to view and easy to find where the info store, one big improve is including support for fingerprint, save time to type in password all the time.

Cons

UI is kind of little bit outdated, could make the UI more colorful and in-line with other apps.

Automated HR functions such as performance management, payroll management, benefits, employee communications.

Pros

Dayforce has been instrumental in streamlining our human resource management system. We utilize this system for employee alerts, employee accured time, timesheets, manager approvals, payroll, benefits, requests for time off and performance reviews. It's all one place now which is more efficient and a time saver.

Cons

The timesheet option is a bit complicated. It takes many steps to find your weekly timesheet with the totals added for each week, need to click on the calendar option which is confusing. Not very user friendly during the navigation process.

We used Ceridian Dayforce to process our benefits and as a time off tracking system. It was easy to use and I would recommend.

Cons

It has been a few years since we used this software. It was with my previous employer. I do not remember any major issues while using the software.

Tire Centers has been on several Ceridian platforms over the 16 years I have been with the company. Dayforce HCM certainly stepped into the future of what the full service human capital management arena will look like. Through a tedious implementation and stabilization period we are very pleased with the offerings of the system and most importantly our end users are on board and have embraced the system.

Pros

User friendly for all levels of employee users. The system has been able to accommodate the specific needs of our business practices.

Cons

Multiple releases over the past few years has made it difficult to keep our internal training and documentation updated.
