### "DayForce - one product does it all"

Real time payroll allows us to audit payroll often and not wait until processing day. During implementation many of our PM left during the project which delayed our progress. Also, some of the IC did not understand US law which we then had to explain how to set up our payroll.

Pros

Single sign on to do payroll, HR records, performance module, compensation.

Cons

When searching for employees, we need to know which company, department to search for their timesheets.

Great tool. Have used many HR products over the years and this is by far the easiest, and most user friendly tool of the bunch. I would recommend this application to anyone searching for their next HR suite.

Pros

Robust Feature List, Intuitive Design, Customizable Fields and Forms, Custom Reporting and Dashboards, One Stop shop for all HR needs including Payroll

Cons

Slow Customer Service Response. I also dislike the payroll preview. we have had situations where employees see preliminary numbers. These issues are minor and easily overcome.

Everything? Probably. Let's start with the fact it requires Silverlight in your browser to work. It's 2018 now. UI is designed to generate clicks after clicks to find what you need.

### "Intuitive and Easy"

Most systems are easy, this system would be great for a large company with one dedicated COBRA administrator or for a single person department that just needs a little help with the demands/regulations for COBRA notification. I never worry that I am out of compliance when I use Ceridian.

Pros

We use it as a TPA of COBRA, and it is very much aligned to help with a one person department. Once you add someone to the system you can use it from hire notice to COBRA notice smoothly. I like the portal, and find that they developers definitely had hard core HR knowledge. They handle everything as long as the data is accurate, we only moved away from this platform when the insurance broker took over COBRA admin for us.

Cons

In the perfect world i could afford to have it integrate with the current ATS, but that is not the case. Also, the reports can be clunky but once you set up your favorites and schedule them you can expect them to run well.

Our company made the switch in 2013 to Dayforce and we are so glad we did! The software is easy to use and support services has been very helpful as our needs have changed throughout our contract. We are currently using Dayforce for general HRIS functions including timekeeping, payroll, benefits, and taxes, and are on the cusp of rolling out recruiting and scheduling for full HR integration. It was a big leap for our company to leave our prior payroll company and go with Dayforce, but we are so happy we did. We have more reports and metrics available for analysis than ever before.

Pros

Some capabilities via mobile, Cerdian has a full platform. I do not have to add other products to it, the analytics and reporting capabilities once I learn how to use them

Cons

The message center. Because I am an administrator I get all messages. Therefore, I cannot see when I have things that I need to do directly for my team. Someone has to call me to remind me to approve things for my team. I wish I could get a special notification when I need to approve something for my team, like a buzzer or something. Since notifications are in Dayforce and no email notification comes thru to tell me to approve something for my team, it makes things challenging.

Reason for choosing Dayforce HCM

Demo was customized/branded for our company and we could get everything in one product.

### "Simple to use but a little buggy"

It has a simple interface and nice adjustments, but when it comes to daily usage, it could be really annoying.

Pros

It has a simple interface, it is possible to adjust the UI to your preferences (like showing your most used features on the main page, and order them out).

Cons

When I clock in or out, it always registers one minute after the time that I really clicked. It a little bit slow to navigate between pages, and it always prompts a confirmation when a want to close the tab. They are simple things but when summed up, it is really annoying, mainly if you have to use it on a daily basis.

Overall, it is a great payroll software.

Pros

I like that it tracks balances of vacation days in real time. I like that I can access my paystubs from anywhere. It's convenient!

Cons

I dislike that after time off has been approved it can't be edited. Instead, it has to be cancelled and re-submitted for approval.

### "Easy use, but still needs work"

Pros

The payroll function is very intuitive. It’s easy to get through and the canned audit reports are very useful. Timesheets and auditing is simple as well. It’s not rocket science when training in new employees and managers.

Cons

The reporting features needs a lot of work. If you need a specific report and want to customize, you will get errors and not fixable. You’ll literally have to pay for every report you need that is not a canned report.

We selected the product due to its functionality, it's great GUI, and the support we received during our selection process. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]. our Sales Executive, was extremely available and helpful as we were comparing HRIS products.

Cons

We are curious how effective the ATS will be over the long-haul, but are optimistic.

Cons

The benefit is that it is easy for employees to login and enter information as well as for managers to approve timesheets

Pros

It's easy to enter your timesheets both on a desktop and mobile.

Cons

It's not intuitive, finding things like job postings, salary information etc is not easy. The mobile app doesn't allow for finding job postings at all, and it is difficult to navigate unless you're only using it to fill out timesheets.

Pros

I really like the My Pay feature that shows when an employee has a net pay difference from the last pay period. It has been incredibly helpful when auditing the payrolls for inaccurate benefit changes or tax chanages.

Cons

The standard payroll reports have a lot of information that isn’t needed when processing payroll. It would be helpful to have the ability to filter out what isn’t needed before running the reports in excel format, such as the earnings register report.

Overall, DayForce has been a positive experience with not a lot of heavy lifting to get everyone engaged and familiar with its navigation.

Pros

Super easy to manage the time away for a large team and UI and features are very easy to use from both an employee and manager profile perspective.

Cons

It shuts you out for no clear reason and the user experience isn't ideal across all major browsers we use daily. It would be a game changer if we could add custom messaging targeted to our employees on the home page. It's a wasted opportunity that we could have used to push out important information to our team.

We liked the fact that DayForce wither was creating, offering or connected to other components of workforce management that the company needs to add as we continue to grow.

What i love about this app, is that you can requests a swap of shifts with your collegues if you know there is . aday that you can't come into work

Cons

What i dislike about this is the fact that you can not access your pay stub or your tax forms in it, that would make it much easier for people to access all information in one app.

### "Easy to use"

Overall, Ceridian Dayforce HCM is slick. It is such an improvement to what we had!

Pros

The cloud based platform is quick and real time. It is easy to navigate and you can learn most of it by just exploring.

Cons

There are some features that could use some improvement. But what's nice is you can suggest an improvement and if others want it and vote on it, the Ceridian team will review it and possibly implement your suggesting in one of their upgrades!

### "A Good Attendance Tracker"

Overall, Dayforce is a good tool that does its job well. It's more simplistic them complicated, and I find that refreshing when compared to some of the other software I use.

Pros

My workplace uses Dayforce as our attendance tracker. We can easily login and submit the time/days we want off, and the workflow will automatically move to our manager who can approve the time. It's a relatively easy tool to use, and makes recording a breeze as it holds a record of available time and time taken over the year. There are other features, such as viewing my earning, and various payment forms. It's a nice tool.

Cons

One disappointment is the calendar feature. The default view shows the calendar with Saturday first, rather than Sunday. I rarely see it like this anywhere in America, so it's been a cause of mistakes and confusion for me and my co-workers.

The implementation process was great. The consultants were very helpful. We have been live for more than 6 months now, its been a great experience so far.

Cons

We had some difficulty to have the carrier feed to get to work, the testing took more time than expected.
