Cons I don't have a lot of cons to share, but some administrators may find managing the system challenging if they have not worked with an outsourced HCM product before as the level of customization/configuration is vast (not a con at all in my opinion.=). Cons Reporting is challenging. An administrator Topic package that includes all topics. Too many topic reports require many reports to be merged to get the info you are looking for. It's eliminated around 100 spreadsheets, automated timekeeping and attendance, simplified and streamlined our HR processes and brought our department into the 21st Century. We've been able to save time and save money since its implementation - removing the need to employ an additional HR team member. It really is an amazing application. I particularly like that I can run a processing at any time to provide financial data to the Accounting Departments when asked. Cons At the quarter end, when we have to open an Off Cycle payroll to enter termination checks or misc earnings after the final regular payroll and the end of the quarter, the Off Cycle is missing a feature that allows for you to "Pay Out To Date" an employee. The problem then occurs that the hours or generated earnings being paid are not marked as paid so there is the chance that they will import to the next regular pay cycle to be paid again. Pros The integration of payroll, scheduling, document management, performance management, recruiting, and onboarding on one platform. Cons It can be more intutitive. The system is easy enough to operate, but I think it would be more beneficial if some of the features were more intuitive so new users can become more efficient in a quicker manner. Accessing payroll records, updating benefits information and utilizing the time clock functionality are intuitive for anyone with basic computer skills. Cons The least optimal feature of Dayforce is the amount of time it takes the software to load (generally one to two minutes) when logging in. This can be frustrating for hourly employees. Pros It is very streamlined and when you take advantage of all the features you are become very efficient. At first we struggled but as the year went on all parts of the module became easier to use. I don't receive as many requests for payroll information. Employees are using the system better than expected. Pros It has a lot of information needed to do reports and Journal Entries. It's easy to navigate thru and gives me the information I need. Cons Some reports are hard to read. Customer service at times has trouble either getting back to me or they fix the problem but don't tell me how they did it so if it happens again I can fix it. You can find nearly the same thing for way cheaper. There app is unaccesible, you can't request time off without worrying if the app actually accepted it. You have to basically do everything online anyways, seeing your tax forms? Can't see it on the app. If you ever forget your password? Good luck to you, customer service kicks you right in the hiney. All they do is feed you lies that you want to hear. I recommend when I work and finding another payroll company that is better. Go somewhere else. Pros The layout looks professional, not just another quickly put together app. Nice, clean and modern vibe. Cons The customer service and help is absolutely the worst I've seen throughout all my years using other scheduling apps. They do not try and help you as best they can, in fact your lucky if you get an email back. They aren't accessible in anyway, shape or form. Review Source BA Beth A.
