Overall - just easy to use and great for our employees!

Pros

The all in one solution for timesheets, Benefits, payroll and other features. The ease of use for our employees always for so much more independence in individual needs.

Cons

Some features we had in our legacy system are not available - but we have put them on the Ideas portal for future implementation (hopefulily)!

It's software that makes interaction with HR seamless and effective, I believe it saves a lot of time of going back and forth via email or other means of communication.

Pros

Very easy to manage all my HR requests, such as time off, personal data changes or evaluation reports.

Cons

The time clock has a little too many options, so it's easy to click on a wrong "event". It could be prompting you to select a certain event based on the time of the day and your previous selections.

The benefits enrollment. We have seasonal employees so not having to do it manually is great

Cons

Implementation. I feel we didnt get the support we needed. I felt we were rushed to go live and that is why a year and a half later we are still struggling

ADP Benefits seems a bit clunky still. More options with ADP Mobile.

It is overall well liked and appreciated. However it has a reputation of having issues that take a very long time to fix...because of the support set up

Pros

Title can do pretty much anything you need it to do, even the craziest pay structure or org structure

Cons

That it’s so configurable that it’s sometimes very hard or impossible to configure it correctly without professional IT assistance.

Pros

I like the fact that I can now access Dayforce from multiple internet applications, including my Mac. The convenience has helped me tremendously with my very busy schedule.

Cons

What I like least about Dayforce is it can run slow and reports can take a while. There is no mobile application available for employees, it is view only from a mobile device.

The program took some time to get use to as there were many tabs and icons. There were some issues with clocking in that is currently being addressed by the supervisor. However, the program does what it was intended to do.

Pros

The thing I like about Dayforce is how organize and clean the program looks. It looks very professional.

Cons

The program auto injects a lunch period even if you did not take a lunch break. So if you don’t pay attention, you might not get paid for 30 minutes.

I’ve had a great experience so far and I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for this kind of software for their business.

Pros

I can find everything I need easily - most options are on the home page. Requesting time off or seeing how many hours I’m scheduled for only takes a few seconds. It’s reliable.

Cons

Sometimes logging into the website from my phone can get glitchy - the whole site won’t show unless my phone is switched to portrait mode.

So far we have had a great experience with Dayforce and the team at Ceridian we are looking forward to hopefully implementing the WFM module and a few other to assist in our daily work

Pros

The ease of the payroll data and the abilbity to do multiple payroll reviews when needs. The ablity to run very simple off cycle pay runs

Cons

Sometimes slow and if you do not save the Payroll data entry you can lose the information you have entered. There is not a great audit report for payroll in terms of per pay period changes like the one in Insync Blue

It has made processing payroll, time cards, benefits, on-boarding and many other HR tasks much easier and faster to do.

Pros

I absolutely LOVE how dedicated Dayforce is to their customers. How they yearn for feedback and suggestions and then actually listen to their customers and implement those suggestions.

Cons

The learning curve is HUGE. It is such an intricate, feature laden product, you almost have to become a part time programmer to be able to navigate and use it to it's full potential.

Cons

Customer service can sometime be not useful on level one. Not have the capability for our IT staff to access the background data.

I like that we can see all of our locations’ payroll and HR records in a single website. With over 12,000 employees and across multiple states this makes oversight much easier.

Cons

Financial reporting is not what we hoped for; it feels like a lot of reports we had that made our lives easier with our previous software are missing in Dayforce.

This has been a very easy to check balances for timeoff, see what is pending, and reenroll in benefits for the following year.

Pros

Time off requests are managed by adding a request to the calendar and allowing the manager to approve it after reviewing the details. It is an easy place to look at paycheck stubs, monitor benefits, and check calendar for up coming events or holiday schedule. Very user friendly and intuitive.

Cons

Sometimes it needs to download content which may take a minute.

Pros

Very easy to use with minimal problems. At first there were issues directly after implementation but now little to no issues at all. Just improving as we go along.

Cons

implementation team could have been a bit more hands on as far as being more involved in our implementation and learning more about our company's needs.

Pros

There's a lot of information that can be stored in Dayforce about different employees. It could in theory be a "one stop shop" for employee data if used correctly.

Cons

The software is not really intuitive. Myself as well as the company administrators had issues making sure info was entered correctly, all appropriate boxes are checked, etc. Perhaps this is the type of software that is better more more specialized positions that can really dig in to understanding it.

### "A balance between users and admins"

Integration was slightly difficult at first with so many features, but after a while its rather helpful.

Pros

The interface of DayForce is pretty with the calming colours and solid organization. It displays information easily and intuitively, a useful application or all employees. A lot of capable features from performance to finances.

Cons

Passwords can be a nuisance sometimes if they are forgotten. Having to reach out to the admin to reset every now and then is a hassle especially for part-time users when there is often more of them. I am not too fond of being unable to easily find staffs in the schedule/timesheet as you can't use ctrl + f on the desktop even though they are listed alphabetically.

Pros

Everything is in one platform, self-service, paperless, could based, intuitive, and easy to navigate.

Cons

No huge cons. Everything that was promised was delivered from implementation to current time. I would just advise anyone switching systems to test as much as possible before going live.
