Pros

The software is user friendly; Our employees love the ease of using the app.

Cons

We had to hire an additional employee in the Payroll Department to help with all the data entry.

Would not choose this system again, given the choice.

Pros

They system was sold as a robust HCM; we have not seen that yet.

Cons

Customer service and implementation has been extremely challenging. Ceridian's team made multiple mistakes that caused our team to rework multiple aspects of implementation. Left us hanging on multiple issues and caused us to spend much more than anticipated.

Pros

Dayforce is a very robust system that has met all our companies needs plus more. Employee's and managers love that there is transparency.

Cons

The one thing that I would like to see changed is a date on the hot fix release notes. This would make it much easier to identify a system glitch.

Pros

It was very convenient to clock in and clock out for my work shifts through the app. The app will require to turn on your phone's location and to click a button that says "Punch In/Out". I enjoyed the built in schedule on the app because it told me my work shifts for the week.

Cons

I was not able to see my pay stubs through the app, so I had to login through their website. It's not a big deal, but it would have been great if I did not have to open a browser on my phone or use my laptop to access my pay stubs.

Pros

What I like most about the product is the ability to navigate relatively quick.

Cons

I originally wS not pleased with the reporting function and thought it was not very user friendly. However, after attending the report labs at Insights this year I have a much better understanding. Other than that, nothing worth mentioning.

I manage the WFM module and love that it’s made it easier for us too monitor sick leave compliance, hours and entitlements. There are regular updates that assist with setting up necessary rules to maintain compliance.

Cons

Because we only use 1 module the integrations are hard to manage and require numerous resources

Pros

Dayforce has made it easier and more streamlined to run the regular functions of payroll admin for our finance department.

Cons

The functionality for the regular manager has been appalling. Interfaces like Silverlight are unreliable and inconsistent. The idea that the managers in a company could manage their team's vacation schedule and have visibility to basic information that is normally contained in most payroll software programs has just proven to be generally not possible in our experience. Functionality with numerous browsers (ie" Safari) is non-existent and the response time of Ceridian to fix these challenges has not been acceptable.

It's no helpful to have all our employee information and payroll in one place. Really cuts down on the paperwork and need to integrate with other products.

Pros

Dayforce is always adding new features and modules - plus improving on the existing ones. May modules are customizable.

Cons

Customer support is generally very good, but if there is an urgent need for a top level support person, it can sometimes take a while.

Pros

Dayforce makes it very simple and easy to know the status and balances of my PTO. Dayforce allowed for a seamless transition and integration from multiple previous softwares into a singular one.

Cons

The PTO and balances portion can be a bit difficult to use at times. There are a lot of drop downs and options where the drop down portion is not the most effective. It would be nice to see the use of more color to identify different values, options, etc.

Dayforce is a good management software that our company uses to track employees.

Pros

Dayforce is a useful tool for employee management. I am a weekly user of this software, as it tracks my vacation, benefits, payroll, etc. It is very useful to go in to book my vacations, and to track what I have used in previous years. Once you have requested time off (whether it be for vacation, sick time or personal time), it then gets sent to my manager, who then approves it. It is then automatically logged and all parties know how many days of vacation I have left.

Cons

This software is quick and easy to use! It is intuitive and does not require much work to learn.

I was able to turn over benefits to the benefits manager. This has freed up much needed time for me and enriched her job in a positive way. Payroll is much less administratively cumbersome. Payroll staff can focus on enhancements. Overall there has been an improvement in job satisfaction with a shift to focusing on change management.

Cons

Learning curve for some has been challenging for some. Recruiting is not robust enough to work for us.

User friendly program makes life and workload manageable. We have gone from having boxes and boxes of backup to having almost none.

Cons

Not knowing enough about the background steps to make changes needed within the system confidently. There are many different screens that make up the background processing that I feel can be redundant but not being confident where all those places and screens are makes me hesitant to make those changes.
