We went live July 1st but as of today still have items that are not completed. Other than that our employees seem to be adjusting to the new software.

Pros

The benefits module was a huge plus for us as we were having major issues with our legacy software. Also liked the recruiting/on boarding features for our driver population

Cons

Implementation was very stressful but we had a great implementation team

Recruiting has really stood out to our company. The customer support is great with fast response time.

Cons

I don't see myself using any other product

Pros

Very user friendly, One stop shop, Uses real time, Reporting is very simple to use and can pull lots of data out.

Cons

When up grades are down in the Dayforce it sometime creates other issues and you have to wait for hot fixes to get them resolved

Pros

Always accurate download data ; some TM system does not load the same file created. Dayforce is also very user-friendly and eliminates request to for assistance

There's nothing I did not like about Dayforce. There's a summary for balancing and very user-friendly

Well, I like the most about the software was that it was easy to use, and had many features to communicate with the employer and fellow employees, as well as provide information to employees in a timely matter.

Cons

What I like, least about the software would simply leave the pricing as not many smaller, corporations, can afford it for all the employees

What I like about the software is, I can see exactly everything that’s going on with my payroll. Is there something I need to be adjusted? I am able to do it without having to call customer service for help.

Cons

There isn’t anything I can really say that bad about the software.

Pros

It has a lot of features that will keep all employees and managers happy throughout the use.

Cons

Lot of at times unclear connecting steps and very long process.

I love Dayforce and Ceridian... they are a truly innovative company that values their employees as much as their customers... makes me wish I could work for them!

Pros

Ease of use, single database system, cloud based, continuously upgrading software to stay ahead of market trends, innovative

Cons

Currently switching to HTML instead of Silverlight and it is a little cumbersone but they are constantly improving speed and listen to customer feedback to make changes

Dayforce is bring our organization and our HR team into the 21st century. Getting us out the spreadsheet purgatory and reducing time spent on administrative task to focus on our our internal customers... our employees.

Cons

Ease of use for our Spanish speaking employees that don’t have personal computers and emails to register the first time.

Dayforce is much easier to use than our old human capital management software. Everyting from payroll to recruiting runs smoothly and effectively.

Cons

It can sometimes be difficult to navigate the desktop version for new users.

The software is fine. The Support side of things needs improved. We are in the process of implementing to another platform and it has not went well.

Pros

The navigation through the menu and the report writing is very simple.

Cons

Customer support. Entering a ticket and receiving a response takes to long. Need an actual contact person who can work with you immediately rather than weeks later to hear from the support ticket.

Oh, there's so much to say. Horrible software!

Cons

From the financial reporting side: Reports that are generated, are not in the correct Excel format. I have to manipulate EVERYTHING just to be able to use it. They don't have a work comp report, unless you want to pay them to create it, which we had to do. I just needed them to run SUTA expense with payroll, but not pay the tax to the state, since we have a trust. They can't handle that. So now, I'm stuck with no SUTA expense to record and Ceridian staff saying, the software doesn't support what we need. Basically, if it's something you need that doesn't fit them, forget about it. You are required to conform to them, not the other way around. They are not customer oriented at all. Customer support is severely lacking. Our implementation has not gone well, and we are not finished. It has been 5 months. The entire process has been extremely frustrating.

Dayforce is okay to use if you are choosing a system, but I think it enables the employer a little too much control.

Pros

Dayforce allows employers to communicate messages, schedules, etc. with their employees. Pretty much any work communication can be sent out with this.

Cons

The software is clunky and gives employers 24/7 communication to an employee, which I think breaks some boundaries. I think work communication needs to stay at work.

I like the ease of use and the features are easy to access, and the links are easy to click. If you need to make edits they are easy to do and save within the time clock function. Your time card is easily displayed

Cons

Lack of Intuitive Forms, The Tax Department Needs work, the software is still glitchy, dayforce focuses to much on bog companies now and doesn’t seem to cater to the market that got them where they are today.

Pros

Not Much good to say as a user. The interface looks nice, but is not user friendly. Not sure it is worth the integration.

Cons

Confusing wording. Constant alerts that you have to delete (who needs another inbox)? When you open the software, a pop up blocks the item you are trying to use (crazy). During pay period lockdowns, you can't do anything but still get reminders and alerts. Worse EVERY TIME YOU LEAVE IT SAYS YOU MIGHT LOSE YOUR WORK even though there is no save button.... what are you supposed to do? Leave it open and worry all the time?

Overall I do think it is a quality product, it just requires a lot of massaging to get out what you need.

Pros

Having benefits, payroll, (WFM), tax compliance, all in the same system is very useful. Changes are reflected instantly

Cons

Support is not worthy. The product seems very focused on retail and manufacturing companies and employers, such as mine, have to manipulate the system to work with our office staff who do not use time clocks or conform to schedules. A lot of 'upgrades are broken upon release and could use more internal testing before dropping them on customers.

I like that dayforce is constantly updating their software. Within 2 or 3 clicks you’re seeing the info you want.

Cons

There are certain fields that seem to be missing. There needs to be an ethnicity field that is viewable in the My HR screen.
