The Dayforce platform is very easy to use. You can copy and paste shifts for all your colleagues which saves a lot of time.

Cons

There are no cons for this platform, as I find everything very simple to use.

Pros

I love that it is ONE system and that it is cloud based!

Cons

It isn’t always easy for a non systems analyst to make a change in Dayforce.

the dayforce app makes it very easy to see your schedule when not at work and put in for paid time off

### "Payroll Has Never Been Easier"

Pros

For someone with very little payroll experience, Ceridian is the answer. Very easy to learn software and never had an employee complain the didn't receive their pay cheque.

Cons

Without using other providers, I question if there are more functions available to me as a user.

Handles large and complex payrolls well. Ability to create customized reports.

Pros

Ceridian Dayforce is a very powerfull program, versatile and able to handle complex payroll for medium to large employers.

Cons

I have prepared payroll for decades and using many of the payroll providers and software available to the public and on the market. I feel that Ceridian Dayforce requires extensive training to use and utilize its potential.

Pros

The time sheets for manager is easy to look over and to approve. PTO is also easy to take and approve.

Cons

The biggest issue has been on the accounting side with reconciling payroll with the banking transactions.

Pros

The ease of use, reporting is super easy; love that Ceridian listens, you get to bring ideas to the table, review others' ideas and vote for them to be implemented.

Cons

There are a few things that Ceridian doesn't allow/or the setup isn't capable of doing, but overall, I am pleased with the product!

I am able to personally update my own contact info and print my W2. I also have the ability to print my statements

I like the payroll feature and that the employees have the capability to log in themselves and update information or print statements and W2's

Cons

The customer support for Ceridian needs some improvement they seem to not be well educated on a lot of issues that we encounter in Dayforce

Great experience through implementation. The only negative experience we’ve had was when our rep left the company right after we purchased an additional module and it still has not been implemented for us.

Pros

Ability to continue growing with the product, as well as the fantastic features like the mobile app, team relate and LMS.

Cons

Quite technical for the average person, but I appreciate the volume of training available.

Pros

Dayforce is extremely customizable! It truly fits the needs of any company; Dayforce fits the company and is not like other HR/Payroll systems that require the company to fit them. One of my favorite things about Dayforce is that you never have to be done configuring the system. Of course, you aren't required to make on-going configuration changes, but for me, having the ability to change a workflow or a scheduling policy or rule is amazing. As we make changes in our organization we can make changes in Dayforce that keep meeting our unique demands.

Cons

As a newer user of Dayforce, I haven't come across any real cons so far. Very happy with our choice to go with Dayforce!

The personalization (photo, bio) features in Dayforce allow our staff to connect with others that they may not have met, and also conversations in performance management allows instant feedback between supervisor and employee.

Cons

Any software conversion is time consuming and challenging but once complete, you're happy it's done!

Love the software, but implementation was tough becuase the people that were assigned to our account didnt know the software any better than we did. I wish someone had taken the time to learn what our organization needed, and the complexity of our process before assigning resources that were too green to help us, effectively.

Pros

The ability to customize and control the environment without recoding of software

Cons

Location of features are not always intuitive. The support/help search features should be smarter. If you dont kniw the exact name of what youre looking for, you dont get results.

Dayforce HCM is a fantastic software, but you need to have the skill and time resources to use it well.

Pros

Most flexible software available. Always expanding with new, sometimes "free" additions. Can do just about anything you throw at it.

Cons

Very slow customer support. Difficult to keep up with updates. Requires a very good administrator to make changes or just keep up with updates.
