Data is processed really fast, real-time data and updated. Manages taxes, benefits, timesheets, and payrolls efficiently.

Pros

The software allows maintaining the confidentiality of users. It is user-friendly and easy to navigate. It allows to efficiently manage payrolls, time off, timesheets, approve overtime, schedule and approve holidays.

Cons

The implementation and launch was painful transitioning from paycor, however, everything since has been smooth. There are constant updates to the software, more often than normal, I should say.

My company switched from Paychex to Ceridian Dayforce HCM in January 2017. Our implementation team was by far the best implementation team I have ever worked with. They are a very organized, cohesive group. This product is very user-friendly and intuitive. The user interface is very easy for even the most novice of users. Dayforce HCM has your HRIS, your Time & Attendance, and your payroll all in one application. A great product!

Pros

Very intuitive and easy to use. Very customizable (do so during implementation).

Cons

It takes a bit to get used to, but once you do, you will never want to turn back!

Pros

I love the fact that I can go into a future pay date and see if future increases or changes have worked. This takes away the stress of having to wait until the day I am processing payroll. I also really like the test portal. In the test environment I can see the results of new earnings or deductions before putting them into production.

Cons

Report Writing - I find it difficult sometimes to find the topic I am looking for in the report writing tool, so it takes me several attempts to collect the data I am trying to report on.

Who doesn't like having control and being able to see all your relevant information in an easy to use dashboard?! I love Dayforce.

Cons

Even less computer savy folks are able to find and print T4's in this system. I have nothing negative to share here.

Pros

Nothing. There is nothing this program does that another program cant do better. Manager functions on the app are nonexistent. All managerial work must be done on a computer. Even on a computer, they're impossible!

Cons

It is counterintuitive. Generally, a pain in the butt. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU OWN A RESTAURANT! It wont help you with anything. Any money you save in labor, will inevitably be spent on figuring out how to use it. Even then, then, you will be disappointed.

Pros

Dayforce releases several upgrades a year with great new features. Our employees love thatvthey can access the earning statements, W2s and 1095c anytime with the app.

Cons

Not all of the reports we use were available "out of the box". But in most cases the support team was able to create the reports during inplementation.

They give you options you can train at your pace when convent and do things your self or use their support or third parties to help you.

Easy to use, the plat form is very simple.

Cons

It was confusing at where I could submit a time off request, which was under "Time away list". Time away list to me sounded like just a list of already completed time off request so I was looking under "Forms" thinking that's where I could find a "time off request form".

Everything is all in one place. We love processing payroll with the time sheets right there. And having the employee record handy works well too.

Cons

The constant updates. Updates are happening often and sometimes it will update one thing but break another. We have to be on the lookout for items on a regular basis.

Generally speaking, the Dayforce product features a pleasant professional looking user interface the is quite intuitive. The single user interface and single client record allows for less time in the system, and more importantly, the ability to run nearly endless metrics for strategic planning. The system is quite robust and offers a full set of features where most competitors lack a full feature set. When you sign up as a new customer, the customer support, training, and networking with other Dayforce customers is fantastic. Overall, the products sets the bar for industry standard.

Pros

Dayforce provides a single user interface and a single client record. Many products have multiple records that impact the flow of data point. The Dayforce single record supports advanced metrics for strategic planning.

Cons

There learning of the product is extensive. This is initially a con, however, the learning and networking opportunities are vast.
