Pros

Very user friendly and easy to use, especially for employees who are proficient in technology. Timesheet and scheduling modules provide a great snap shot of employees approvals, balances and work schedule. One of my favorite features is the ability to delegate user access and privileges for holiday coverage.

Cons

Slow client solution response times. If you are requesting a special report or task, it can take awhile to have that request completed. I had to wait over a month for my custom compensation report. Solution response time for any issues that impact the business are a lot quicker (a couple of business days) however I would still prefer it was quicker.

Dayforce caters to our needs. We can now do so much more than we could ever think of doing in our old HRIS system.

During our performance evaluations we had some trouble with the settings not being so customizable as we thought it would be.

Single log in for HR, time and attendance, schedules, and payroll. Everything flows nicely into other sections.

Cons

Implementation was a struggle. There were many problems with the team we were assigned but we are one year into using Ceridian and seem to have resolved 98% of them.

One of the things I least like about the software is the delayed response time with customer support. In a few situations my issue has not been addressed in a timely fashion.

In my experience, the strongest determining factor of successful utility of Dayforce is the knowledge of the administrator. Logical and intuitive, in the hands of someone who understands HRIS, the potential of Dayforce to drive business efficiency is endless.

Pros

The breadth of their features and the configurability offers endless solutions for businesses to drive best practices and innovation.

Cons

Sometimes modules are rolled out without being as "polished" as I would hope. They seem to roll out basics, relying on future upgrades to complete the more functional pieces.

Pros

Very intuitive and easy for the end user to navigate; overall, less clunky than ADP. Even people who aren't familiar with software or computing for that matter can figure it out easily. The app is great as well and a necessity due to our mostly mobile workforce. Pay stubs and forms are clearly organized, labeled, and the graphs are a nice addition. Good value for money in comparison to other tools.

Cons

Sometimes it's confusing to have different login pages for SSO vs. regular login. Also, the SSO portion is iffy. At the end of the day, this is highly confidential financial information - perhaps SSO isn't the best method if someone could very easily be on someone else's computer and have access to their compensation information by clicking one link on a company intranet.

Pros

I worked at a few companies who utilized DayForce as the software for clocking in, paystubs and scheduling. It was very user friendly and even after I left the company I could access my paystubs for a bit. The app was great to have.

Cons

Adding time off was time consuming and a bit of a learning curve. It could be updated now, but notifications about an upcoming shift would be a cool feature.

We’re turning paperless. We’re streamlining functions to become more strategic for our employees and able to concentrate resources on other projects.

Pros

Flexibility and versatility. Ceridian is big on making improvements and listening to their customers in order to add new features and functionality.

Cons

Because of the customization and versatility of the product, customer support sometimes has a hard time keeping up with the updates when you run into a challenge.

I like that I can access it from my phone and that is it easy to use. I like that I can request off of work and I can change my availability.

Cons

I don't like the desktop version as much as it is harder to find the availability option and it is easier to find it on the app.

Dayforxe allows us to easily view pay stubs, make schedule requests and send messages to other employees. Overall I am happy with the program.

Pros

Dayforce provides us employees and easy to use and easy to navigate workplace program. We are easily able to view paycheck stubs and work calendars as well as make time off requests.

Cons

The constant need to change your password gets annoying. I'm not sure if that feature is able to be changed by the administrators.

Dayforce Is a great tool and is definitely evolving. I cannot wait to see what the future holds with the product.

Pros

What I like the most about Dayforce is , the system is very user friendly. I love that we have a test environment to test all the products and determine what works best for us and what doesn't. I am able to perform any tasks in Dayforce quick and efficiently.

Cons

The only thing I would like to change about Dayforce is functionality to add more items to items such as pay approve checklist. This is to work like my day but the manager is not on the page as it is displayed in my day. So eventhough Pay approve checklist is a lot user friendly than may day I have to complete an extra step and run a report to find out who the manager is for the employee I am approving time for.

I really like how user friendly Ceridian Dayforce is! And not only that it provides real time tracking which is great because I'm able to view my calculated vacation days before and after scheduling.

The software could improve in regards to making notes that I input easily accessible by my manager.

No real general comments other than the current support structure is a little disturbing. There are time you can call support and get a person to help and try and determine the problem. There are other times you get a person that literally tells you they are opening a ticket and that's it!

Pros

compared to older Ceridian applications (HPL, HPW, Source 500) everything is done and complete. No more application/Signature issues.

Cons

There is still a 'back end' that as a client I can not see. You used to be able to use SQL to make behind the scene application changes and have the data flow to Signature. You no longer need to flow anything to Signature but there is so some of behind the scene work the client can't do,

Dayforce is very easy to use. This is true from the payroll, HR and employee perspective. Our performance management roll out was the biggest win so far!

Some nice to have features are not yet available and not all of the changes are included with each upgrade

I like it. It's simple and personal and there's no old-school punching in and out of work. It also provides a means for employee communication which is handy.

Pros

I'm a new employee at Books a Million and this app so far has been super easy to use. You use it to clock in and it knows when you're on the premises and check schedule for the week.

Cons

No real cons. My store didn't seem to know the information to get me logged on at first. Perhaps it's more difficult for administrators.

Pros

Dayforce integrates wfm, payroll, benefits so you will most likely only use dayforce for all your hr/payroll needs.

Cons

Reporting but i am happy to see some changes coming down soon. Customer support is always helpful and i have had eally good experiences.
