It handles the retroactive payments very well. It is extremely powerful reports,but hard foor the lay payroll person to write.

Pros

The thing I like best about Dayforce HCM is that it is all on one platform. We came from a world of uploading and downloading many times to get the information where we needed it and in the format we needed it. This has saved us 1.5 days every other week in processing time! I was also very impressed with the CEO at how intimately he knows the system and can answer any question about it. You don't find that very often in CEO's, especially for a company the size of Ceridian. He's a very friendly person as well!

Cons

We find the adhoc reporting a little difficult. We are accountants and not very familiar with SQL programming, and SQL is needed sometimes to write expressions in the adhoc reporting. We are still pretty new to the system, so maybe this is something that will come with time. The customer service could use a boost as well. Sometimes we feel the time frame for our tickets to be addresses/completed are a little long.

I do enjoy the simplicity of some of the reports . However the onboarding was very tercentenary .

Cons

Support was not great. Packages should be catered to the company’s needs and wants not what’s standard.

Pros

They provide all your information in one place. It's easy to see how many vacation hours you've accrued or how many sick days you have remaining. Additionally it's fairly easy to adjust hours worked as needed within their software. It works very well with our internal clocking systems keeping everything aligned and easily understood by the employee.

Cons

Some functionality leaves a little to be desired. It times out and will not refresh, you must click on save to keep any changes but it's easily forgotten and/or missed by employees and the different clock in/out codes can be confusion. For some reason starting the work week on Sunday creates edits intended for Monday appearing on Sunday requiring further review and editing.

This software is easy to use - clock in and out and make adjustments when someone has forgotten. Quick logins.

I have not had any issues with this software - i also have not heard complaints from associates and other managers.

Overall great experience. we had great support from the Ceridian team assisting us when we had problems. Dayforce was easy to learn and easy to use.

Pros

Simple, with all the functionalities that an employee needs. Easily could view my payslips from the mobile app. or my leave balances. i enjoyed the fuction that sent out company wide notifications that we got instantly on our mobile Apps, I liked that we could use Dayforce to conduct surveys.

Cons

there are not many cons that I can think about. I enjoyed using Dayforce. It satisfied my employee needs and i had no complaints.

Pros

One Stop Shop and its the Ultimate Package! Hopefully it will save time, money, errors down the road. Its a great communication tool as well. Love that we can see everybodys schedule from your computer.

Cons

I am not liking that I asked for help back in November and still don't have an answer yet with my lock up issue in Dayforce. In recruiting module I am unable to open my applications that people are applying for. And I also wish that their was a forgot password option to send a link to the employees email to reset their own password. I have reset many employees passwords because they don't write it down. Even though you said write your password down. They don't do it. And every employee is retrieving their W2 now and needs a password reset. :)

Pros

The user interface is aesthetically pleasing. Our account rep and support lead are always there to listen to our issues, but sadly many of our tickets remain open and issues remain unresolved.

Cons

The Time & Attendance system is extremely slow, there is a lack of knowledge in support when opening tickets and support is also very slow at responding. The system has many layers which is both a pro and a con. A pro because it gives the user more customization options, but a con because it can (and does) cause a lot of confusion for both the user and in our case the implementation "expert".

Overall good. No negative comments. Training was helpful.

Pros

This product is easy to navigate. You can find all the sections you need easily and it is helpful that you can select the most used ones for your main page. It is good to be able to view you time clock punches and corresponding hours.

Cons

Not anything to dislike. Maybe with more time there may be things that we come across that we see could be improved but for now, everything is pretty straightforward. Very user friendly and easy to navigate.

I would love to have one customer service rep assigned to our company who knows our system well and we can reach to him or her directly.

Pros

All the help is available online. I also like that all modules are available on the same plateform. Easy to navigate.

Cons

There are some features - I would like to see. Hopefully they are coming in future release. for eg. - Reverse termination.
