I don't hate it but I also don't love it. If it didnt have to load web components every single time I go to log on I might be happier with it. Pros I like that I can track my time sheet and view old paystubs and w2s. It is easy to navigate and put in time off requests. Cons It takes a long time to load. I have lost count of how many times I have went to log in to dauforce and 5-8 mins later am finally in the program and able to clock in or out. Review Source BM Bryan M. August 16, 2017 4.0 Dayforce is awesome! Pros What i like most about dayforce is the ease of use. It makes our daily jobs more efficient as far as onboarding and payroll. Used the software for: ### "Ceridian - requesting PTO" October 28, 2016 2.0 I use Ceridian exclusively for requesting days off of work. Once I'm logged into the system, i need to find my way through the clunky system to find where to request my days off. The interface looks like it's from DOS back in the early 90's. I doesn't look like it's been updated for years and years. If you didn't know how to request time off, you would never figure it out. It's not at all intuitive. There are no help screens and there are popup windows to show you things. It's all drop down boxes. If you don't select the correct drop-down, it takes you somewhere else and you have to try and figure way back. It's a horrible way to go in and request a vacation day. I need a vacation day just because I used this old, clunky, software. It's almost 2017 - this software should reflect that. Review Source JM Jerlyn M. It could be a little more aesthetically pleasing, but overall, I am happy that it stores my pay check history for the entire time I have been at my company. Pros Ceridian Dayforce keeps track of my pay statements and W-2s. I love that this saves paper, and they are all there for me to easily access on the webpage. Cons Ceridian Dayforce presents my pay statements in a hard to view format. They are not read or printed easily. I normally have to adjust the settings to get them to print easily. Our HR team is able to keep notes on discussions with each team member to share information. Pros We are most excited about the new features we are implementing early next year, HR metrics, performance management, recruiting and onboarding. At first I was confused on how to use it, but once I got the hang of it it was a very simple program to navigate. Clocking in and out, checking my stub, benefits, time was easy to keep up with and navigate to. Having all of those tools and information on one sight is so helpful and less time. Pros I like that the system is intuitive and it is easy to navigate and use which is key for any HCM. The reporting options are really great and the pre-loaded forms will be a big time saver for business analysis. Cons The implementation phase is very laborious and often because so many functions are going on at the same time it makes it very challenging for an organization. Some of the forms aren't editable by systems and there are options that would be a major benefit to have listed. Example Hiring Form should have the entitlement policy option. It is not difficult to navigate through as an employer, and there is flexibility on the employees side. I like that someone can review their immediate employees hours from anywhere - even mobile. Its cloud based web portal allows you to access remotely and the layout is easy to understand. Cons The negatives I have so far is regarding the website link to access the system.
