### "Payroll is good on dayforce"

Pros

What i like most about dayforce is payroll. Payroll can be completed much more quickly with dayforce.

Cons

State tax forms and onboarding are what i think Dayforce can work on. Onboarding forms are not smart and that makes it difficult for employees.

Pros

The product is easy to use and gives the user freedom. Customization is at the tips of our fingers and can be instant.

Cons

Customer support can be hit or miss. To be honest, there have been times when a familiar voice answers the phone and I will hang up and call back in hopes of a different support team member answering.

Cons

Dislike the dashboards & My Project. It appears that Ceridian needs to invest a bit more time and money into these features.

It has been frustrationg, because we cannot use it they way we hoped and were sold that we could.

Pros

The concept of housing all of the different features into one platform is very appealing

Cons

Implementation has been incredibly frustrating, and there are several features that cannot work the way they should. Our company does not have complicated needs, but Dayforce seems to not be able to handle our requests

Over all this has been a great transition for us!

Pros

Dayforce allows us to have 1 system where our employee records are linked and in one place. Our systems before were so dispirit. Policies were difficult to manage and each department was able to make up their own policies. This allows us develop one set of policies for the company and implement them.

Cons

The recruiting module leaves a little to be desired. Our recruiting needs are advanced and Dayforce does not allow us the flexibility to do everything we want. But in the mean time it has allowed us to take a step back and review basic practices.

Pros

Before Dayforce we were on HPL which was very slow. We converted to HCM Dayforce July 1st, 2015. The implementation went pretty good on the Payroll side. The time saved is amazing. Once I learned how to run the reporting side of Dayforce I was able to audit payroll in a more accurate and efficient time. Overall this software is awesome.

Cons

Customer support is the one thing that I would say needs improvement plus our Dayforce representative. In 7 months we have met her once and she never returns calls. Once we signed off on implementation there were no more support at all. You are left to figure it out on your own.

Cons

reporting is complex and time consuming and have to log into different roles to see different features is a pain.

Pros

Clear display of information in each category (eg. Earnings & Benefits). Under the earnings category, each payslip is displayed clearly. I also like the overall look and feel of the software.

Cons

The dashboard on the front page is too confusing. Both categories and subcategories are presented on the same page, which confuses and overwhelms me every time.

Pros

Dayforce HCM is a one stop shop, user friendly and easy to navigate. We were able to streamline our processes and introduce the system to our field staff. Information they would normally tap into corporate office for is now at their finger tips and easy to find and use. The self-service portal has been a big hit with our employees as well. We are now totally paperless.

Cons

I don't really have anything that I least like other than support which has been addressed.

My company uses Dayforce for timecard entry.

Pros

The software is fairly easy to use, easy to read, and updates instantly.

Cons

There are so many codes required, at least for my company. While the software itself is easy to navigate, I feel like I have to read a "how-to" document each time I fill out a timecard becuase of all the codes that have to accompany it.

Cons

Need to be savvy in report writing to create your own teports. Configuration requires some SQL experience.

We had several programs serving different functions and it became too much to handle. We are in the process of rolling out Ceridian Dayforce in order to keep everything in one program - recruitment, payroll, employee portals, vacation tracking, etc. It has been a dream to rollout. Very easy and it will make our lives so easy!

Cons

Rolling out will take time, as with any software.

Pros

Self Service Functionality. Once implementation is finished and issues resolved, I am going to love it. Ease of finding functions.

Cons

Tickets take a long time to be answered, and when we update info, all of the sudden entries we did not do appear. Calculating payroll takes an eternity. I am still not able to Commit as I cannot do Audits. The perils of implementation.

We are always looking for a way to provide visibility to our Managers and employees. Automation is key, with Dayforce we are able to go paperless and automate most manual functions.

Cons

Implementation is time consuming, but worth it. The workbook is very intense and everything requires mapping.

Pros

I like using Dayforce, it works the best it can for how we use it at my company. I don't dislike anything so far.

Cons

It's not the software I don't like. What I don't like is the my company only utilizes a small portion of Dayforce and then uses other software for things that Dayforce can do as well. I say, let's stick to only software for multiple functions but I don't make the calls on that.

It’s been okay because I only use it for timekeeping and benefits.

Pros

Works well with remote employees. Has a mobile app. Easy for timekeeping haven’t tried the recruitment section of dayforce yet.

Cons

It doesn’t work well for our payroll it also doesn’t talk to other systems. We were promised it would do a lot more than it could and now are looking at implementing a whole different system.

### "Horrible implementation, training, and support"

Unless you detail out EXACTLY what you expect from them as far as implementation help and training BEFORE you sign on the dotted line, expect a nightmare.

Pros

The system itself seems pretty solid and capable of doing most of what was shown to us in the dog and pony show we saw before we committed, if we could just figure out how to use it.

Cons

Implementation assistance and training was just enough to get us to produce payroll (mostly). After that, we got tossed over to "regular" support which is HORRIBLE. Response time for support questions is longer than any sane person would think is reasonable and usually the responses don't even come close to answering the question you submitted. We have been on the system for 3 months now and we still don't now how to use all of the modules (but of course we're paying for the whole system). I no longer even get responses back from our so-called implementation people.
