At first it was a bit challenging but now that some of the errors have been resolved it is getting better.

Pros

I like that you do not need to submit the payroll every tow weeks as our old payroll system you had to submit to Ceridian.

Cons

We had some issues the first couple of months as my reps could not add their vacation or time off in Dayforce. This how now been fixed.

Pros

easy to set up your own "View' if applicants and sort reqs.

Cons

limited ability to attach interview feedback and eval forms - reporting function is very limited and very hard to use have to run many reports and manually combine data to get what your looking for

Pros

DocuSign and virtually approve payments to contractors underneath companies

Cons

It can get confusing how to login, but once you understand how to it is pretty easy

If file management is handled, it can help the HR team and beyond focus on talent development.

Pros

The functionality and ease to run reports and display results is phenomenal. Also the file management seems to save a lot of time.

Cons

None so far. We are still discovering more about it.

Pros

Easy to use good security software with it. Wells layed out system flows like butter Would recommend to other employers to use as their ployree onboarding system thingy .

Cons

None really could keep up with the times yet. Need less pages for employees to do o would be hire ons... Not instant at sending receiving documents files pics graphs letters yet..

Cons

Reporting is cumbersome to use. Repeated Issues with new product releases and the ability to get those fixed quickly.

Pros

The product supports several areas of HR/payroll management in one system. Ceridian offers this product in several countries which is attractive for companies operating globally.

Cons

The product is very good, however, I would like to see improvements in managing compensation such as salary survey data and comparables. I would also like to see enhancements in attendance and workers compensation. I would like to be able to code time away or restrictions within attendance and have it automatically feed to the OSHA log. Over the past several years Ceridian's customer service has declined. It seems to be slowly improving. The employees are great! I believe they need more employees for support.

Pros

Dayforce is such an easy to use system that it has decreased the work load for our Payroll and HR department. We can now process pay in half the time than our old system. It has also decreased the usage of excel spreadsheets to track information such as TAFW, schedules and accruals.

Cons

The customer support team needs a little more training on resolving incidents in a timely matter. Representatives should be assigned to an organization so they can gain the knowledge regarding that particular system, this would help to help their clients faster.

Pros

Easy to manage scheduling and approval of time for staff. Makes managing employee hours much less administrative.

Cons

Setup can be tricky, and the UI menu design could be improved upon. Often you have to click through several boxes to reach the screen you need.

Pros

We went from 4 systems (with multiple platforms each) to ONE!!! It has made out life so much simpler.

Cons

The easily accessible features mean the employees have more of an ownership to their own profile which makes them less frustrated because they don't have to call HR or Pay to make changes on their profile.

Overall, I have had a very good experience using Ceridian Dayforce as a tool and would definitely recommend it to my colleagues.

Pros

This tool is very easy to navigate and is convenient for beginners to get started. The best aspect of it is that it is customizable as per the needs.

Cons

Added compatibility with Microsoft Silverlight would be better. The reporting feature could be made more user-friendly

Pros

They always listening to our needs. If something isn't available right now, they send it to R&D for consideration in a future release. In the past 3 years, we have already seen two of our wishlist items come to life.

Cons

I have close to 20 years experience managing payroll for large companies. With that comes of a lot of knowledge learned through that hands-on experience. I am able to troubleshoot pretty well, so by the time I call customer support, I really need second level assistance. Having to sit for 30 minutes while the first level tries all the solutions I already know about and have attempted is a waste of time for both of us and can lead to a frustrating phone call to support.

So far my experience has been good. The conversion for our employees from NetSuite to Dayforce has been surprisingly easy. I haven't utilized any of the reports or data yet but the time entry has been great.

Pros

I just started using this software but so far i love the SIMPLE layout !

Cons

It seems to prefer Internet Explorer for some capabilities over GOOGLE .

Organizes employee information- start date, termination date and reason, PTO, etc., abilities to assign multiple views/roles per user (Ex. employee vs employer), ability to communicate with other ATS and HRIS/ software applications.

Cons

Could definitely be more user friendly with more bells and whistles but otherwise not many cons to the system

Pros

It is well laid out and clearly formatted. The scheduling section is very easy to use and very quick - being able to drag and copy/paste employee shifts is very convenient.

Cons

Editing or updating employee details is long winded and the hierarchy section never seems to work first time when setting up new users - it is difficult to have multiple managers over the same employees etc

Ceridian is very responsive and customer-focused. The product continually in upgraded and has amazing functionality. It is very easy to use.

Cons

Nothing currently. In the past, the former sales representative was aware that we wanted a North American product but failed to present anything. Upon receiving a new rep - one that we have had for 2-3 years - service has been incredible.

Very user friendly, very good customer service. There is one database for all functions including payroll, time clocks, etc - that was really the selling feature

Cons

Slow on Monday's and Tuesday's due to the large volume of people on the system. Still uses Silverlight but is apparently moving away from it
