It logs even 150.000 EPS in a healthy way as soon as you ask me to. Siem is what the black box of the plane is. That's why surelog software indexes all columns of all log sources very reliable. For example, while some siemler indexes only 3 areas of the fortigate firewall, surelog indexes and displays the entire area. It is a very fast product. When we scan the archive log, we can get results quickly. The correlations that some siem products cannot write are written here quickly. Keeps a lot of logs and works with few resources Pros I like the feature of keeping a lot of logs with the least amount of resources. For example, while other siem products keep a live log for 1 week with a 35 TB storage unit, it has the ability to keep a live log for 6 months with a Surelog 4 TB storage unit. This is a concept that makes you profit from disk CPU and ram, which costs you investment. Cons There is nothing I like least about this software. However, it is provided much more to control all our system and provided a security perspective. Application arthitacture is very good due to storage capacity is managed very well according to other solutions. And performance is better accroding to our test. We are happy to use. Pros Application is very suitable to integrate any system(log) via using Web Portal and Plug-in(s) of most using devices/software in globaly are ready to use. No shared dashboard options. No AD integration. Editing or Creating corealations not so hard but still requires basic SQL knowledge. My humble oppinion is Ajax infrastructure is a must for this product also PhpExcel library would solve Excel exporting limitations. Pros Easy to deploy, easy to adapt, user friendly interface Cons Requires high resources to run, queries are slow, excel exporting is relatively limited, database stability is arguable. Usage was not easy, you have to know SQL Query. Logsign was a disk monster. 2000 EPS log + 10 days = 1 TB Disk capacity and it wasn't sustainable. No chain correlation skills in Logsign. So easy to use and management are the most wanting features from an IT product. On the view of this approach SureLog is the best convenient product for the market. Easy installation and definition definement , all-in-one dashboard usage and pre-defined rule sets are the best features for this product. Cons It has covered most of the product log collection and for me all my IT equipment logs are covered. Maybe for the application log analysing in depth it should have a client model to collect the data for correlation. Reason for choosing Surelog We had a PoC and got beautiful results so we consider price-performance and chose that product. Pros we use Surelog - log management feature in Turkey for the requirement of Law 5651 and log internet behaviors of our users. this surveys answers the need of the law very well.. Cons as we dont use it for security management purpose i did not find any unlike thing in it.
