Pld are always forward thinking, and proactive with the platform, and it's refreshing working with them. Pros Client Support: Is excellent, always on hand for any questions, queries, tech trouble shooting etc. Value for Money: Is very good, the platform has many great articles that can be used, or amended to suit. The dashboard stats are extremely helpful for monitoring patterns in growth etc. Their are lots of variables for what data we can capture, and possibilities to amend and add new ones - making sure the platform grows with us. The option to add coaching is an interesting and potentially beneficial feature. Professional Development: The reviews for assisting with gaining prof registration is very good - the mentoring between members makes a big impact on people's chartership applications, the help they can receive via the programme is valuable. Cons Sometimes members, have trouble logging in, or their accounts being recognised, some liaison has to be done between our digital team and their support team, but it always gets resolved quickly. Pros We were able to build a bespoke mentoring system with PLD that met our business needs. Working with the PLD team to get this up and running was overall very easy, flexible, and it has been excellent value for money. We feel the platform is very secure and we have oversight of everything that happens, which supports our orgs safeguarding requirements. Using the platform is very straight forward for the user, and as an admin too. Cons We had a couple of hurdles when customising the platform to start with as our org has a unique approach to mentoring relationships, but PLD were able to find a solution which fit our business need as well as taking on board their teams knowledge of mentoring, personal development, and user experience. Pros The ease of use for mentors and mentees makes PLD a real win. The system is intuitive and transparent which allows mentees to clearly see who is available and for mentors to manage their time. It provides good value for money in terms of numbers engaging and live relationships compared to older system we used. Client support is extremely good. Cons We haven't yet encountered anything that we feel is negative about the platform, to date it has met all our needs. We appreciate that PLD is an all-in-one platform offering very useful resources for every stage of the mentorship journey, communication channels within the platform, and matching and tracking capabilities. It’s simple and easy to navigate. The administrative functionalities of tracking and displaying statistics are very beneficial, and, again, simple and easy to navigate. PLD has done what it has advertised to do, and coupled with the excellent client support, we are satisfied and grateful for its services. Pros PLD’s client support is excellent, for they are quick and thorough in answering queries and providing any support as needed. Cons The login code, while understandably required, has posed problems for some of our international users logging in from around the world. Also setting up meetings only in one time zone can be tricky, although this is partially solved by the meetings displaying in users' local time zones once downloaded into their calendars. It's a great way to connect people at the early stages of their career to ask questions to someone senior, so i think it's very useful, especially to match people in similar sectors of medicine. It allows an opportunity to connect with people in different hospitals at a distance and using a remote form of communication works well. Pros That it's a intuitive platform allowing the mentee/mentor to self navigate, rather than a lot of admin work for us. Cons It would be good if there was an easier way to view stats and the progression in number form rather than graph.
