Pros: simple to use

Cons: backend support staff

Overall: Used it for 3 months worked as they said but when I needed backend support they never have the time to finish and wanted to just hang up on me before problem was solved and then support totally missed the minor problem and disrespected me making me go off on them so I dumped them need better backend support!!!! Do Not Recommend!!!

Overall: We have been using DeskManager for years. It is simple and easy to use. It does everything a small dealership needs to do.

Comments: This is a powerful DMS platform that is capable of way more than most that cater to the Independent Dealer community. I have had no issues so far, but admittedly have a great deal of experience on the Franchise side.

There are a great number of settings available, and they do take some time to get through. Once the setups are done, this thing is fast and efficient.

I would recommend this platform to anyone that wants more than just a basic platform to type paperwork.

Comments: We were new entirely to the auto business and DeskManager has been a lifesaver. From making a deal to having the correct forms or helping keep books in order to running credit applications, Deskmanager does it all! Customer support is very easy to deal with and are actually rarely needed. This software is an absolute must that I would not chose to be without. We have been in business for over 3 years now and DeskManager has been with us every step of the way. Integration is seamless. As our business has grown, DM always had the answer. The developers have thought of issues in advance. Thank you DM!

Cons: At first customer service agents were nice, he told me 30 days 100% money back guarantee, i paid amount for six month then i found out lots of issue with the software i demanded money back not only they refused to do so but also billed me after six month even though they know that i canceled a week after the purchase, this company is money hungry don't care about you, don't recommend them, much better software out there

Comments: I've been in the industry for some time now, and not only is the software efficient and user friendly, but the support is nothing less than exceptional! I am so grateful for the support team, as they are always easy to reach and assist you immeditely. I have not once had an issue with them, and find it shocking that anyone else could say anything less.

Comments: I went with DeskManager in 2008 after testing 12 other programs. I really hated leaving Tracker, but no longer having support left our business vulnerable to crashing (which it did) and unable to collect payments. I made the right choice!

DeskManager has been so supportive in making my software custom built to me. EVERYONE thinks their ideas are best. DeskManager support has been able to take my ideas and build them into their product in pretty quick time.

And I have never had an issue with reaching support. Granted, there is a east coast/ west coast time zone difference, but most of the time I can plan afternoon times to use their "Chat" feature (which resolves problems 80% of the time) or request a phone call back which usually only takes less than an hour. I have never had an issue carry over to the next day.

Comments: Desk manager has been a disappointment to us, we purchased the program to replace our existing software, (which we loved, but they didn't handle leasing). They promised us that they could handle all of our needs, but it took them 2 weeks to get us the plain paper leasing forms onto our software, (paperwork they should have already had because they work with our leasing company already) it took 2 days shy of 1 month to get our MA plain paper forms onto our software, ( they tried to tell us that their other MA dealers only use per-printed forms) . When we asked for our money back after not being able to use the program for the first 2 weeks, we were told that all sales were final and we would not get a refund, and it still took them an additional 2 weeks to set us up to do a simple plain paper form purchase and sales for MA. They will be happy to enter any forms you send them in PDF form, just not until they get to it.
It is a shame because the program has the potential to be good, it is just backed by a poor system of support. When you call them for support, you get an animated message that they will call you back in the order your call was received. This is not helpful if you are new to the system and have a customer sitting there waiting for you to figure out how to input something into the program.
