Overall, the experience has been very productive. We've been using it for over two months and so far everything has worked smoothly. The management portal is easy to use and making changes is simple. The efficiencies Next Order has introduced have been instrumental in reducing costs and increasing sales thereby generating greater profits.

Pros

Next Order is a complete and holistic platform that integrates and encompasses a variety of features and services that are required in the hospitality industry. We are a busy cafe based in Canberra, Australia that gets traffic in-house and online. One of main benefits that we reap from Next Order is that we can just use one tablet to accept orders from Uber and Menulog. This helps us get rid of a lot of clutter and frees up space for vital operations. Next Order also includes QR codes for table ordering reducing the burden on our staff members. Additionally, also included are delivery and pick-up orders through the website which has led to increased traffic for our cafe. The sales reports are detailed and easy to pull up, these help us make informed decisions about the menu and any changes we want to make. The table layout provided within the POS is a great help, we can look up orders in process easily and don't need to enter the table number manually like we used to with our previous platform. Next Order provided us with a two terminal license at the cost of one. This allows us to efficiently manage order throughout the day with minimal burden on the staff. These features have also allowed us to cut down on staffed hours, reducing our costs and increasing profitability of the cafe. We haven't used some of the more advanced features yet as we have been using Next Order for a little over two months but I am certain they will add great value to our business.

Cons

At the moment, there isn't much to dislike. I'd say the implementation process takes a bit of time and needs the involvement of management to provide input. But the result is great so that's something I could overlook.

Would not use again. If I hadn't paid for the year I would not still be using them. I know they won't refund me my money as it's hard to get my weekly online payments let alone a refund for a serive that they promised to provide but have not provided T all. So why bother. Save your money and go esel where.

Pros

I got sold the world and they have not delivered me Tasmania let alone the hole of Australia. Steer clear of this business as they will take your money and not provide you with the service they offer.

Cons

Well first off my system was ment to go live on a date and it took them e extra days after 2 weeks to go live. They also changed the domain so people could not find the Web page and than could not fix the issue for 4 weeks. The also never told me it would take upto a 6day period to recive my online payments which usto to online take 2 days. They sell you the world and don't deliver. I have asked to speak to the \[sensitive content hidden\] like I was told in the sales pitch I could for over 4 months and keep getting told we are passing on your details and he will call you shortly.

I actually wish I could leave a -10 star review for this company, as the experience has been a nightmare. We were lured to the company on the promise of a better e-commerce and POS system, which couldn't be further from the truth. The sales team were warm and friendly - promising to look into things, but it actually didn't happen. When I had concerns about switching to NextOrder, and asked for a meeting with the Founders, I was given the run-around. The customer success managers had the tendency to say what you wanted to hear and handball or ghost. Firstly, the customer success team sent out a second-hand Samsung Galaxy tablet, which was locked and unable to be reset. We needed to purchase a new tablet ourselves a day before we were due to launch, with the promise of a reimbursement in our monthly fees. When we decided to transition back to our previous software provider, the team ghosted us, not responding to messages about the reimbursement of the tablet. Lastly, even after we asked to cancel our service, we were charged website subscription fees not once, twice! This was completely unacceptable, so an ACCC report was lodged. NextOrder promised the world and under-delivered. If you're looking to switch to this company, don't. They can't be trusted.

Pros

The ready for pick up notification and driver tracking was useful. That’s all though. Avoid this company!

Cons

We were told that the software could apply a promotion in a similar way to our previous system, which was completely false and not resolved. We were also told that financial paybacks from Stripe would occur daily, but this is also false. They come 10-days after the transactions were captured. There was also a number of questionable transaction fees deducted from our revenue, which still haven't been returned to us in a transparent and honest way.

Terrible. When we decided that for the sake of our business and our team we would change over (Christmas time) we didn't tell next order we simply just changed to another POS system. Our final payment was held back and never came through. We chased and chased with no response, finally getting a response after looking up one of the directors on LinkedIn and sending them a message. The amount for the final payment was discussed but they wanted their eftpos terminals and tablets back-fair enough. They couldn't tell us what was sent to us-we knew but wanted them to confirm. We sent the items back at our cost and then when we were supposed to receive the payment it did not come, we chased and chased and finally received a payment that was roughly $300 less than we were owed. No response to emails or calls-they just ghost you- and finally a response saying the admin team have checked the back end and that's what we owe you, contradicting the actual reports on the system. Payments for sales where often held up-up to 2 weeks, never accurate, hard to balance, and nothing but a pain in the backside. It's almost like they are hoping you don't pickup on the discrepancy's. Honestly we can't be positive in any manner about Next Order. If I was you I would honestly look elsewhere.

Pros

The sales and product pitch was good, not great. Promised to do so much more than it actually did. Was told at the initial sales pitch that google reviews are collected and sent to google-you could choose which ones you wanted to go to google. This feature didn't work and was finally told that it was still in development.

Cons

Things started out well and the team tried there best to deliver what they had promised. They were eager to support us at first but we had a short time frame until opening day (10 days I think) and they over promised and under delivered. The menu was never set up in the system correctly, we couldn't adjust the menu (any changes you make were not saved), pricing for items was incorrect and in the opening week we lost $1000's of dollars in sales not being paid for correctly. Their eftpos system had issues, we often had to restart them, and then we were told even if the payment screen on the eftpos terminals said the payment was taken, it had 7 minutes to reject the payment-in other words you could give out the items and then find out 7 minutes later the payment was not accepted. The team in the backend/support and IT tried very hard to help you but promised returned phone calls often were never returned. If the system screwed up you never receive compensation. If you have several diners at one table dining in and ordering/paying separately the system would often try to charge them incorrectly-it couldn't handle more than 3 people ordering separately at the same table. Google reviews were supposed to be collected and then you choose which ones are posted, which would be a great feature but it doesn't work. After several weeks of emails and phone calls was finally told this feature doesn't work!! There are so many little bugs in the system!

Cons

Not having a pos system held us back a little, but that is in development which we are excited to start using !
