In Vadoo you find a good price, excellent space to place your videos and the guarantee that users will not be able to download your videos. Cons What is needed and I hope you implement it is the creation of chapters in the videos, as well as the loom with the subtitles and the possibility of creating folders in the projects to organize the content, also a search engine by words to locate a video or group of videos with the same tag. I was also looking for a solution that would host audio files, which was surprisingly difficult to find. I was very excited to come across Vadoo, which offered both of these options at a very affordable price. I was also really pleased that it is a one-time purchase rather than becoming locked in for monthly fee. I'm just starting out with offering online video content, so this seemed like a perfect option for me. I was happy with how easy it was to get started on the platform, and although the customization options are not extensive, they feel more than adequate for my needs. I've tested embedding the videos on several different platforms and it worked as expected, and I like the option to have a landing page available for each video if you like. Cons The user interface is certainly bare-bones, and sometimes a little tricky to navigate - but by clicking around, I always found what I needed. I appreciate that there are different ways to get video, such as by uploading my own files or recording through an extension.  Another plus for me is the activity in the Facebook group. The owners are active in responding to inquiries and I've learned a lot about the features that are offered through Vadootv. Already there have been multiple feature requests that have been fulfilled by the team. They truly do listen to their customers. I know that sometimes it can take a while for customer support to get back to you (I did use the chat to contact them, didn't hear anything from them the first time and resubmitted to which they replied within a day). But because of the activity in Facebook to kind of know what's going on on their end, I understood that they were simply inundated so it was fine for me to wait for a response later. Someone who might not be aware of this may find this part frustrating, but hopefully they will get the staff they need to handle all their inquiries. All in all, can't complain and also can't wait to see what else is in store for Vadootv's future. Pros Vadootv is the tool that has finally pushed me to create the courses and tutorials I've always wanted to create for my audience. I can host ad-free videos for my audience and easily embed onto my own site. I love that I am able to keep my audience on my own site without directing them off to Youtube or other platform. Cons Since I am using this product for a relatively straightforward purpose, I don't think I have fully explored all the features to be able to speak to what could be improved further. In terms of a basic feature, I think an easier, more efficient way to bulk upload videos would be helpful. Reason for choosing Vadoo I wanted options for how my videos would be viewable, and therefore decided to go with Vadootv so that I wouldn't necessarily have to be at Youtube's whim to host videos there for free. Pros I bought Vadootv Player for my video promotions. I found the deal to be highly valuable I think Vadootv Player has the potential to be one of the favorite products of the people who want to promote their product through videos. I also love that I can create customer videos and host them easily. Since YT now adds advertising whether we want it or not, it's valuable to have video hosting without ads. ALSO, I am working on course creation and may need to embed videos hosted by VadooTV. It appears that I may be able to use this for podcast hosting in the future too, which is exciting as a solopreneur. To date I have tested some of the features and played around with learning how to use it. I would love some more case scenarios and training videos. Pros I love the number of features I get for video and audio hosting. Videos can be embedded on my site or emails, or I can create a landing page for a project full of videos. I can host videos without advertising, or add a personal CTA. I also love that I can whitelabel the video content (with a high enough plan) and customize the player. Owner E-Learning Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "VadooTV takes a new look at video everything" July 14, 2021 4.0 It's a relatively new products but we like where they are heading and now responsive they have been to user feedback even though it's easy to understand they have been swamped in the last few months. VadooTV has allowed us to use a single platform to do everything video-related. The storage is generous for the price. We hope to be able to cancel our other video hosting subscriptions and a couple of other tools we've been using to collect user feedback and to share troubleshooting videos with clients. Pros My partner and I both have accounts with VadooTV. It's been great so far for hosting our course videos. A few things we really like: - The ability to request videos from customers. This is an invaluable way to collect customer testimonial - The option to add subtitles. We do business in English and French, which allows us to repurpose videos that would otherwise have to be redone. - The delivery speed of the videos. It's not always perfect, but in general, it's been speedy. - We love the call to action feature. This is real cool and not something we could easily do using other services or self hosting. - This CTA feature is a good addition to the possibility to add the videos to email. It's a versatile tool for hosting videos. Cons In terms of dislike, we'd have to say that the most significant pain point so far has been the inability to insert the videos on our website or other platforms using just the URL. Unless they made some changes recently, the only way videos can be played is using their video player. The creators of Vadoo are listening to user requests and constantly improving the product. If they continue like this, I am sure they will soon have the best video hosting platform. Cons Obviously there are things that could be improved because they are a new company. The projects should be able to be divided into folders and I would like there to be general video settings and not have to go one by one changing the settings but they are things that they have already confirmed that they will be solving. There are a lot of options to take advantage of but the dashboard is easy enough to navigate so a novice can at least upload video and export/embed where they need them to go. Pros I’m not a power user of VadooTV by any means. However, VadooTV is a great value for video storage, especially if you can get it on a lifetime deal. First, as a competitor to Vimeo, it offers a lot of the same features. It is nice to be able to store course video in an economical way without relying on YouTube. This makes me and my product look more professional. One of the issues with many new SAAS companies that you’re investing in is are they going to be around. I think the ownership of VadooTV has made solid progress and are really trying to ensure legitimacy and long-term progress so they can grow in the marketplace and stay around of the long-term. They are quick on support and have created their own support forum on Facebook. Cons I think integrations are always going to be an issue for newer companies and I would like to see some direct integrations with some of the software that I use. Of course as a lifetime buyer, I’m also worried about hitting my account limits and having to purchase more. However, I know this is how a SAAS company needs to grow revenue to maintain the platform. I've found that the email video embed is really useful! It catches the viewer's attention and gets watched more quickly than just a link. It also looks professional with branding applied. I think it could also work like MarcoPolo. Great for: - verbal feedback via video - video testimonials - screen recordings for team training - language lessons (send a request for the student to talk about a certain topic on video) Pros It is easy to request a video from someone, such as feedback or testimonials. The main benefit is Vadootv is entirely customizable and brandable, and there are no third-party ads. Videos are uploaded quickly, and are streamed quickly as expected. No issues. Vadootv already provides some integrations notably Zapier, Pabbly, etc. It provides analytics, both per project and per video. It provides recording feature through Chrome extension. It all comes down to your creativity. This is a tool that can work wonders with the right person. Pros Vadootv is the powerhouse of video hosting. There are so many customizations available, both per project and for each video. Cons Many sites or third-party SaaS can only recognize video sources from YouTube and Vimeo, not yet Vadootv. This isn't a fault of Vadootv, but it is something the user need to understand. And hopefully, Vadootv works together with other popular apps to have native support. (i.e. for those who only provide a video URL, instead of a custom HTML embed code). UI is a bit confusing at first, but after you learned it, the features are actually laid out with proper navigation.
