Popular platforms like Vimeo are expensive. Muse.ai is affordable, but it's a monthly subscription. On the other hand, Vadoo TV is offering a LIFETIME deal. So, pay once and forget it. So, it's economical. Plus, I liked the amount of space they are offering. It's more than many of it's competitors. More importantly, they seemed trustworthy. In contrast, some of their competitors like Adilo have some really bad reviews from frustrated users, and of course, they don't have a refund policy. But Vadoo has. So, if I don't like Vadoo, I can always ask for a refund within 30 days. Honestly, Adilo has better UI and offers than Vadoo TV, but Vadoo TV seemed more trustworthy than Adilo. Hence, I picked Vadoo TV. Cons Analytics is very basic compared to its competitors. But on my inquiry, they said they are working on it. Hope to see it soon. Furthermore, some webinar platforms require direct video links, but Vadoo does not do that at the moment. It offers a link to its landing page, but that's not something my webinar platform would support. So, currently, I am using it only for my Wix website. I hope to see this gets added soon. The chapter's features can be made much more beautiful like most of its competitors. Overall, I am optimistic because I acknowledge they are in the early stages and continuously adding new features. Vimeo is great but it's geared towards enterprise customers. Also it's a bit pricey. As a marketer I just need small places to scatter my sales videos and call to action videos across different pages on my site. For me, this is a replacement of both Vimeo and Wistia (I've only used Wistia once though). Pros I like the fact that they offer Unlimited Bandwidth, and I hope it is valid forever. The streaming speed is fast, HLS encryption helps protect video from downloading using IDM. These are what I need, and other providers charge more expensive with bandwidth restrictions. Cons The only thing I didn't like was the way YouTube video import works, it's the same as the original YouTube player, it doesn't make sense to me and I hope \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] will re-evaluate how this import works. With Vadoo, I can use more video and encourage clients to send video feedback with the push of a button. I'm looking forward to adding a video bubble on my website as well. Pros I like how generous the plans are, how easy it is to use, and most of all, I like how feature-rich Vadoo is. They provide an excellent solution for video hosting. Still, they also check off a few boxes for useful video tools that I've seen on the market as standalone products like the ability to add a video bubble to your website and providing customers with a video request link. Vadoo is one of the best options I have seen value-wise for hosting video and audio with many bells and whistles other competitors wouldn't even think about adding. Cons The UI of the platform doesn't look as polished as you might like. It is very early in the game for Vadoo, so this could change in the future. However, I see VadooTV as a pillar of my Video creation and long-term storage platform. I would buy the 5 tier level before I would pay my mortgage this month! This will continue to pay me back every month that I use it. I love the High-Speed CDN service but I will miss the buffer pause on youtube etc...where I go get my coffee refills! I am impressed and relieved by the stout content protection through password protection of content and the option of domain restriction to restrict unauthorized access. The combination of a proven product with an inspiring RoadMap along with responsive support and founder team make for a solid foundation to invest in an ongoing relationship with the company and not just buy a product. The Video Bubbles are a wonderful tool useful even if not original. The Facebook Group for Vadootv inspires me to participate to teach, to learn, and to share together as joint collaborators on a long-term voyage. I find companies that are willing to subject themselves to the uncharted waters and ongoing feedback loop of a forum or group evolve faster and are more committed to sharing a long-term journey together instead of just selling me a product. Cons Although its interface is simple, it is not very intuitive, I think it can still improve, something that I would love is a RTMP to transmit my videos live directly on its platform, it would be fantastic to be able to store my transmissions in Vadoo. Pros This is a very nice alternative to Vimeo. Having Youtube was great but having my competitor's videos showing before my videos wasn't an option. With Vadoo, it's very simple to upload videos, and what's even better is you can import your videos you have established with YouTube and Vimeo. It was super easy, and within 10 minutes, I was importing the videos. After that, I assigned the task to my VA, and he was easily able to import the videos faster than I did. Side note it looks like the analytics will be a nice feature as I'm a numbers, Cons The project section is a little confusing, but Ill study that a little more. It seems like it might be something to upgrade to categorize out my videos for different clients or sites. While the customization options are not extensive, they feel more than adequate for my needs, and I was pleased by how easy it was to get started with the platform. Those platforms are very expensive and involve monthly fees. Vadoo does what it says on the box and it is a great new tool for me to hosting my e-learning videos. I also love that it has some basic marketing features built into it. You can embed CTAs and you can brand everything to your liking. The fact that it uses CDN means that videos load quickly and playback is smooth. The embedded video player is also pretty sleek looking and you have a lot of control over what a user can and can't do. Cons This software seems to still be in the early stages of it's development, so there seems to be room for improvement. That being said, as it is in active development and has got good support, I am pretty sure users will be pleasantly surprised in future updates. Video hosting services are extremely expensive and often require long-term contracts that can be difficult to make changes to if you're not happy with the service. It was so refreshing to find out about this amazing new product from HSL - video storage on demand! The cost of maintaining my own server has been outrageous lately; I'm just glad there's finally something affordable available like this which provides all the features needed in order to run videos at high speeds without buffering issues or data limits hindering me as well as excellent customer support via Facebook group where they release updates. They were very friendly and informational, but most of all they knew what they were talking about. That is ultimately made the sale for me, having a nice service is great but if your staff don't have a clue about the tougher more technical issues than this service would be poor overall. Pros It is very easy to use, even someone not technical can get used to the interface in less than an hour which is great because you can ask you team to use it and not worry that they might not have the technical expertise. That is a time saver and less stress on you mind, plus this make the team more flexible as anyone can fill into that role. Pros VadooTV is an excellent piece of software to host your videos that offers high-performance delivery using CDN plus your videos are protected with HLS encryption. No ads makes it clean when you embed it on your website. You can also have a video landing page with a CTA, perfect for driving conversions. On top of that you can actually insert CTA at certain points in your video and connect the form to zapier, integrately or pabbly to further widen your use cases. VadooTV can also embed your videos on your emails so you can create better email outreach campaigns! Plus, you can also create a bubble video widget sorta like VideoAsk... And oh, the cherry on top is the unlimited bandwith! Cons I think the UI/UX needs to be improved, it manageable at the current state but I think it can be more intuitive. The Vadoo team is rapidly adding features so the platform will only get more useful in the future. Cons The interface is functional but appears dates. It is really straight forward to use. It is possible to neatly organize everything into projects to stay organized. Uploading and importing is super simple. There are also features to record directly on the page / via a plugin and to collect videos from others, but I am not using Vadoo for this job. Cons So far everything seems to be working fine. Folder would be nice to have for even more fine grained organization opportunities. But everything has been very easy to set up and I cannot really say a lot more about given my current status of usage.
