September 29, 2020 4.0 Overall my experience with Releasd is positive. By using the software I am able to turn our coverage reports from mundane spreadsheets into colourful and interactive reports, allowing the business to see the work our team are doing in receiving pro active Unilever coverage. The metrics are also useful is quantifying our results and allowing us to view our results as a numerical trend. While there are certain things which make limit Releasd, working around these problems are usually easy to do because of the customisable tools it offers. Pros The drag and drop functionality is Releasd's most satisfying feature. The layout is easy to use and customise, meaning there is an abundance of flexibility and opportunity to be creative in how you want a report to look. The ease of the software is also a huge benefit. Being able to drop a list of hyperlinks from a spreadsheet into the online coverage box makes collecting and presenting these articles easy. The slider is also a great way to enhance the presentation of coverage and produces an efficient, tidy and interactive report. In addition, the new metrics features contribute huge benefits to our business. Because of the accurate figures produced, we can reliably show to our team that we are meeting our targets and getting the best results in our work. By quantifying these results, the progress can clearly be tracked and analysed. Cons At times Releasd can be problematic and the process of creating reports may be difficult because of certain issues. An example of this is that it cannot preview articles which are behind paywalls, despite the headline, subtitle and image being available to view. This means having to copy and paste the text into the slider by itself, making the report look untidy and text looks squashed and is hard to read when scrolling within the box. It also takes away from the overall look of the report, especially considering top tier coverage is regularly behind paywalls. Review Source RE Rob E. Easy to integrate data, social media feeds, videos, etc to showcase our work. Also very flexible as we use as credentials packs, welcome packs, client and internal newsletters. Very close working relationship with the Releasd team and have been heavily involved in the development and beta testing of the products. Very quick to fix any issues. Cons The widgets used to be a little fiddly to use but the team has fixed this problem. September 28, 2020 5.0 This software is great to help solve problems when it comes to reporting for our clients. It helps us give dynamic reports that are easy to make, and easy for people to read. Pros Released is great for doing custom reporting. Our company uses it mostly for the end of the year and quarterly reports. It is easy to use if you have a basic understanding of computers. Cons I wish we had more customization options. Intergrating with some of our other software on the digital side would be lovely. Cons Would be better if there was more flexibility to customize certain things - like the order in which text and charts are presented in a widget, ability to resize charts and import charts from other programs. Pros What I liked about Releasd was not only how easy it was to create great looking reports but also the client experience and share ability of the report was a key factor. Cons My only issue I had in the early days was it's use on Safari vs Chrome. Being a Mac user, Safari is the default browser and Releasd kept logging out on Safari so swapped to Chrome and had no further issues. I don't know if this is still an issue? Cons There are some bugs with information being deleted while typing. I believe this comes from copying and pasting within each report, but copying and pasting is important in these reports for my company. Other than this, it's great! To be able to add live coverage and social posts so simply means we can share our progress and successes with the whole business. Pros Releasd provides a straight forward approach to displaying dynamic content to a wide audience. Creating content was simple and easy to manage, with drag and drop functionality making it versatile and easy to create attractive webpages. Cons I came across a few minor challenges when using Releasd, including not being able to change the background colour of some of the widgets. Cons Occasionally there are things which can’t be achieved as easily as possible, but we usually report these to the customer team and they are looked into and taken on board. It's just a great resource that we find really useful both for showing results and summarising campaigns. Pros Really nice and simple to use to build a nice looking report. Works really well when you are trying to tell the story of a campaign or have plenty of content that you want to share with the reader. Pros The widgets are great. I like how it incorporates social media, articles, really cool aesthetic and layout, and it is very easy to use. Cons The only con I have is that when I right-click to use auto-correct to fix the spelling of a word, it deletes all the information in the widget. It has saved me so much time that i would of spent on reports as the easy to access information and link to websites and social media feeds is second to none! Cons It may sound silly but the size of the boxes for online and print coverage are different so need to be resized! Also for print coverage i have to change the coverage into a different format.
