The ticketing system is fast and efficient and all the help team are incredibly knowledge and so helpful. This is usually resolved quite quickly but is frustrating when trying to get things done. From the start it seemed easy to use and was easily navigable (if that's a word) but getting into the detail and making things happen, HARD. Cons I can't get a flow of actions going to the end - Panel Assessment, setting up merit criteria to align with the application form (amongst other things) - the system is so clunky. When I started using it, I thought it would be easy but sadly, I underestimated its complexity. This has by far been the best decision for our Grant Program management since first launching in 2023. Cons The only improvement I would dearly love to see - is for the Good Grants platform to be able to 'limit' the number of submissions per applicant for each Round we run, currently our package allows limits - but only across the Active Season (which is also on, with a twice-yearly program). There are a lot of features that you can turn on and off but unless you're a computer programmer, you're probably not going to use them (and feel a bit lost in them, unless you're relying on the help guides...which are helpful but very wordy and time consuming to read). Features like PDF downloads for reviewers are great but not great when they don't work properly. Redacting information for a double blind becomes a manual process unless your applicant was very good about not embedding info into questions. Overall it is okay but it honestly feels like an overbuilt beta testing version more than a finished product, which further makes it feel overpriced for what you get (a fancy form builder). Maybe the experience is better below the base plan? Might look at other platforms for our next round of grants.
