" August 5, 2025 5.0 I have been trying and failing with other solutions. All were overcomplicated, heavy on the server or hard to implement. I found Websitepolicies.com and all my projects are covered, in an elegant way. Easy on the server side, fast loading, incredibly easy to implement and the updates are most useful! They are true professionals and I can't recommend Websitepolicies.com enough - it makes everyone happy, customers, owners and the law side. I don't mind the advertising, it just looks a little less professional. Pros I like that I can customize the cookie consent banner all-around - colors, location on screen, and text. The banner has a modern, clean look. Other similar tools don't allow for as many customizations, and the look/aesthetic clashed with my website. Cons I had created and customized my cookie consent banner, and when I went to save it and create an account, I had to start over. Luckily it's quick and easy to set up so it only took 5 minutes to redo my work. However, I can say that the way the platform works, they make it VERY easy to put in the pertinent information, choose the best options, and have a detailed, professional-looking privacy policy very quickly. Cons There were some items that needed a bit more clarification, which got in the legal weeds a bit, but there was enough context and helpful documentation that I was able to get through it. Still, it did feel a bit "legal"-y for someone who doesn't know the law too well. E.g. creating an acceptable and up-to-standards privacy policy for online consumer services is super important, but one can easily get lost amidst the regulatory framework and technical details. Here WebsitePolicies comes into play, as it allows me as a lawyer to get a very trustworthy product with a simple user interface. Cons It is of course frustrating that some of the most important features are behind a payment wall. People underestimates the importance of a website policy and how it can stop you from doing business (Such as online marketing or having an online shop).
