We use it at The Met Hotel (Chandris Hotels - Greece) for floor plans, site inspections, wedding management, and guest list coordination. It is intuitive, practical, and greatly improves organization, communication and overall event execution. Highly recommended for hotels and venues handling complex events. Cons So far, we have not encountered any notable issues, as EventReception aligns well with our event planning requirements. It simplified every step of the event planning process, from preparing the seating plan to welcoming guests at the door. Thanks to its user-friendly features and efficient functionality, the event was a resounding success, leaving a positive and lasting impression on all our attendees. Pros Streamlined Check-In Process and great RSVP Tracking. Managing a large number of attendees at our event was made incredibly smooth by this tool's seamless seating features and check-in process. With just a few clicks, I could effortlessly prepare the seating plan and on the day of the event I could register guests as they arrived, leaving a lasting impression of professionalism and efficiency on our event. Cons I only have one suggestion for improvement: On the Floorplan feature, it would be helpful if the company of the guest was also displayed next to the name, instead of just the name of the guest. But you can click to maximize the seating list, to find more guest info, including the company name. You may then select them as usual, and when ready to seat them, simply minimize the list. Also EventReception's customer support is the best experience ever. You call 1,2,3 problem solved or question answered. Cons What i dont like is that it's not customizable, it would be very useful if we could decide which columns will be shown and which not, also change the titles. Also it would be a very useful feature if you could have the guest list Exporting to Excel with guest per table. Excellent customer service. Pros It is very easy to use. Can create a floorplan very fast, and keep all the data organised in one place.As for the staff, very professional, approachable, attentive, fast and readily available! Cons The downside is that there is no 'bank' of blank floorplans to use. If one needs to create a floorplan for a venue they haven't used before, they need to find a blank floorplan, send it to the company and wait for them to upload it - if it fits the criteria... so that causes unwanted delays in an otherwise quick task, at least until one gathers in time all the floorplans they will usually be using. We understand that requesting and waiting for the upload of a background floor plan image for an event space that is not included in our existing database, can lead to unwanted delays. We are continuously exploring alternatives to expedite this process, but as of now, we have not found a quicker solution.
