Was able to create URL coupons so that when a user clicked a link a coupon was automatically applied and that alone paid for the software in the first few uses. Would highly recommend test driving it! Cons A little bit confusing to get set-up and make sure it's all working correctly, but nothing that any experience WP user can't handle. Pros I love that the program is easy to use and has so many options to provide incentives to current and new customers, when set up correctly the program does all the work for you. Integrated perfectly with WooCommerce without any issues at all, unlike many other apps we have installed to work with Woo. Cons Well, the only negative thing about it is not actually negative at all. The options this program gave us made us sit down to seriously reconsider the way we were offering services, that took more time than implementing the system. Cons There is a small bug when running in multisite which causes Advanced Coupons to always show a pending update. It appears to be superficial. SO customizable! BOGO deal is awesome!" March 6, 2023 5.0 Like I've said-- we create some crazy coupons with our company. One promotion might be simple, but the next has the craziest conditions. There has been no other company, other than Advanced Coupons, that has responded well with our weighty requests... and executed all our coupons and promos without flaw. And for $60/year ($5/month), it is TOTALLY worth it. I have saved so much time and frustration when I got this dynamic plugin. Pros It is very dynamic. We seem to run some very odd combinations of coupon codes and this is the only software to fully handle it. From BOGO deals, to user-role discounts, to "once your cart hits THIS amount THEN you get this product for free. Things like that. I had searched for other plugins—of course everyone searches for the free plugins first— but I came up shorthanded. WIth how well built out this plugin is, their support, and documentation, it just FEELS right to pay someone for their amazing work. It's the only one that can fully handle all aspected of coupons and discounts. Cons There definitely is a learning curve to this software. It's amazing but it does require a lot of mindfulness to make sure you're not crossing your wires. For example, our company likes to occasionally give a free product when a different product is added to the cart. We like to make sure the free product comes out of inventory, but we also want to have it be a "free surprise gift" in the customer's cart. (I.e. we don't want to hassle the customer to put the product in... we just want it to magically appear in their cart as a free product.) This is definitely doable with this plugin but it wasn't exactly intuitive. I had to put free product in its own category and shuffle things around until it worked. Thank goodness there is a way to clone the coupon so I can easily recreate when we switch out the promo product! Maybe a few more tutorials would be nice and helpful. The ones they had were good but I felt like there were steps and snags that were not fully covered. But hey! It's always nice to use your own deductive reasoning to figure out chain reactions. That's a cool skill to learn. :) Reason for choosing Advanced Coupons I needed a good BOGO coupon. A good discount plugin, believe it or not, is difficult to find. It completely handles our loyalty program and I love the store credit system. Pros The plugin solves many difficulties with WooCommerce. Not only are the features in the coupon code settings extended to be much more customizable for each deal, but it also adds store credits, loyalty program and other features that are important for us and our customers. Cons At times there have been major updates that changed how core functionality works.
