The support from Sales right through to support has been way above average and there is a sense that the Sharktower team is invested equally in our success. They are responsive and 'agile' and the 'cons' listed above will probably not exist for long as they do tend to process feedback rapidly and effectively - making Users feel heard. Pros Highly intuitive and aesthetically pleasing software. Integrated easily to our environment. Easy to accelerate adoption of the software. Ability to drill down and see high level project view. Cons Overall view is lacking and is the only reason a star is short or the software would be 5 star all round as lets the tool down. I understand this is dynamically available on the overview but most Senior Stakeholders would like a Portfolio / Programme view across all projects. Ability to pull out information at task level across all projects. The customer experience over the last 4 months has been above average and this was a key buying decision. The ability to install on Monday and start using on Friday was a massive bonus too! I am still in the honeymoon phase of 4 months and it gets better with use. The Sharks? They are there - visible and being tracked with nowhere to hide. The tool provides an intuitive experience Cons Not great for software development or data science. In tools like TFS there's a clear distinction between a story and a task. Pros I'm a big fan of the Kanban and focus for the day features. Whilst so many other options are content on confusing users with feature rich solutions for managing your day to day tasks, I really value the simplicity of the Kanban in Sharktower allowing me to easily see who's working on what and what my priorities and focus should be. Delivery Manager Financial Services Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Best Project Management tool on the market for visualisation and project engagement" April 15, 2021 5.0 Sharktower allows me to engage all stakeholders in the project, manage tasks, deliverables and dependencies for the internal project as well as engage the client on the overall plan for delivery and keep them updated on progress in real time. I now now longer need to translate a complex project plan into a very manual and time intensive PPT on a monthly basis to enable the client to understand delivery, they can log in at any time to check progress, see automated updates and be notified of tasks where their support is required. Pros Sharktower's project visualisation is easily the best in the market place, it makes GANT charts look antiquated. In one view which all stakeholders can understand and relate to and engage with I can see different workstreams, activities, durations, dependencies and outcomes. For engagement, creating viewing, assigning and prioritising tasks in the Kanban is quick and easy and therefore makes standups and reviews more effective. We can now have all the tasks in one place and be on top our todo lists as well as quickly identify where tasks have slipped and how that affects the business and the objectives we have set. Pros Sharktower it easy to set up and it provides a visual understanding for the different projects, something that my team really appreciates. Through some of the features we are able to change some of our working mentality and focus more on priorities and how our work meets the company objectives. It also eliminated our need to have too many meetings to make decisions. Cons We are a small business with a small team and therefore everyone works in a lot of different projects. Being able to have "global stand ups" rather than "project stand ups" will make a difference for us as it will make it easier to understand everyone's workload and how all the projects work together. We see Sharktower as part of the next generation of software that will truly disrupt how change is delivered. We have aligned outlooks where we see transparency and availability of information supporting better business outcomes. Pros The software is easy to deploy and get a team collaborating and planning on a project really quickly. It allows us to track progress easily and understand the status of where we are at across a portfolio of projects. In a world of remote working, being able to collobaorate real time through this product has really helped us deliver to our clients. Cons The team at Sharktower are constanly evolving the product. Pros The Kanban is great and easy to use however the most improved feature for me is the plan. This used to be tricky to create and maintain, but it's now so much easier to use. It's now a really professional looking product that can really help project managers keep on top of their projects. Other plan management software becomes an activity in itself, where someone's sole job is to update it - not a good use of project management capability. Sharktower also enables all team members to feel engaged and part of the project, with all status and activities clearly visible to everyone. Cons More flexible reporting options would be a good enhancement, especially when considering some stakeholders want to see all projects, some want to see single projects and some want to see a subset. We pull external stakeholders into the tool to work on specific projects - the feedback from them has been positive. Pros Sharktower gives us an overview of our whole portfolio in a user-friendly way that is proving easy to communicate to our steering board, while giving us the operational insight needed to ensure successful delivery. The template feature is proving very useful for regenerating our onboarding processes across our new projects. The Sharktower team are incredibly helpful, understand our business, and provide bespoke support. Cons The tool presents a new way of looking at projects (across activities, tasks, stories etc). It takes a little time to get used to this method and adjusting your current delivery method to fit shark tower and inputting your existing portfolio can take a little time. The team are very responsive and helpful and very receptive to feedback. They are very accommodating to development suggestions and seem keen to work with customers to develop the best product possible and we realy like the collaborative relationship. Pros There is nothing like Sharktower out in the market... it is the right solution for our team which consists of two teams from two different organisations. The many features of Sharktower enables tracking of activity and projects across both sides of the team in the delivery of a vast and complex portfolio of programmes and projects and provides full visibility and accountability. Cons There are some UX and UI issues but it is a new offering and is still developing and the Sharktower team are very receptive to feedback. It halves the time. The visual aspect means it’s also much easier to communicate a plan  and it provides a valuable way to review, challenge and re-think your delivery approach. Cons To make updates even faster and easier, it would be good to provide an option where when updating an activity in the plan, you can automatically update activities that are dependent on it. We've used this during the planning and delivery phases of work. I've used the features such as kanban extensively and really enjoy the ease of use. Pros The way Sharktower is structured and the UI is so enticing. It’s very seamless and flexible whatever way you want to work. The interactive plans make you jump into action. When they’re visualised you can really see the project in front of you and feel ready to get started.
