We chose it as to be our no-code automation layer for hoteliers, and it let us get to market in months rather than the years it would have taken to build a workflow platform ourselves. It has been a strong technical fit. Embedding, white-labelling and multi-tenancy work well, and our team can extend it with their own components. It’s also been a good partnership. The Appmixer team is responsive and open to feedback, and they’ve adjusted their roadmap in response to what we’ve raised, including adding Copilot. There’s room to grow, particularly in Copilot maturity and monitoring at scale, but the rate of progress gives us confidence in where the platform is heading. We’d recommend it to other SaaS companies looking to offer native automation inside their product. Pros The library of pre-built connectors is broad, so we don’t start from scratch on common integrations, and the component framework makes it easy to build our own Mews-specific actions and triggers when we need them. Per-customer isolation and quota controls have also made it practical to run at scale. The team behind it deserves a mention too. They’re responsive, they listen, and they’ve shaped their roadmap around feedback we gave them. That’s a big part of why we’re confident in building on it. Appmixer let us ship an embedded automation product much faster than an in-house build. This is the main value for money that we got. Our engineers focus on domain components, and our customers build and switch on their own automations. Copilot is a real partner when users build flows. After it creates a flow, it summarizes what it built and points out possible issues. For example, I asked for a flow that retrieves bills. Copilot noted that the results would include bill corrections and that I could filter them out. I asked it to exclude them, and it updated the flow at once. Pros The AI Copilot is the best part. Users describe an automation in plain language, and Copilot builds a working flow in seconds, with the correct steps and data mappings. Non-technical users can now create their own automations, which used to need a developer. The platform is also excellent for an embedded use case. It is white-label, so our customers see it as part of our own product. Our engineers extend it with custom components through a clear SDK, and Copilot can use these components immediately. The large connector library lets our customers connect the other tools that they already use. The Appmixer support team is responsive and helpful. Cons Honestly, there is very little to dislike. Every time we needed something, the Appmixer team either had a solution already or added it quickly. Any small gaps we found were closed fast, so nothing stands out as a real downside. It comes with a set of connectors and you can very easily add new ones – their CLI makes custom development and deployment very easy. On top of this, thanks to their flexible runtime and open runtime code, we are shaping Appmixer to become our 3rd party authentication center. We are not only letting customers enable complete flows, but we are also using Appmixer to sign up/log in users into our own systems by reusing existing 3rd party auth mechanisms in the Appmixer engine. This is a huge plus. We are now rolling out 1 integration per week to our customers to enable a connected translation and localization experience for them. Pros Appmixer platform is very flexible and comes with a good set of components. You can access and modify these components' source code, which is a great help. The flexibility of the Appmixer platform enables flow programming to a very high degree, making the implementor's life much easier. The team behind Appmixer is very supportive; they allocate time to brainstorm compelling cases and sincerely listen to your feedback. The pricing is the only one that makes sense in the iPaaS market. We reviewed in detail probably all of the competitors in the market, both technically and business-wise; Appmixer made the most sense with its connectors, runtime engine, cost structure, flexibility, sales and operational support. Cons Appmixer's runtime enabled various advanced use cases for us, we only had difficulty in shaping Appmixer platform into an authorization management center (which is really not advertised as such). But thanks to the stellar support from the team, we were now being given the tools and changes necessary in Appmixer platform to let us centralize our 3rd party authorizations in Appmixer, alongside integration flows.
