Pros Systran Translate Pro is reliable. Little to no edits need t to be done on basic translations. Some technical areas benefit from the decades of development and experience, requiring little edition as well. The software allows you to effortlessly translate whole documents in all major formats, detecting automatically the source language. Besides files and direct text input, Systran is capable of translating text from websites, even images into dozens of languages carefully documented in their database. These capabilities can be enhanced and tailored via customized dictionaries for your specific case. Cons Not really much to say in terms of disadvantages. Maybe the suggestion of adding an app for IOS and Android. If there is software that approximates that is Systran Translate Pro. In my short experience, I have not found any more precise software than this. The quality of my work has improved dramatically after using google, bing, and other free and less professional software or online translator. So that my revenue increased too. I personally use Use their MS Office Plugins in google chrome and save a lot of time translating PDF documents. Pros As an individual translator, the most impressive feature of Systran is that it is possible to translate long texts in very short periods of time. I have translated 20 slides of PowerPoint in seconds, and very few times I had to edit something. The integration with my business has been painless, as it is possible to translate files not only from my computer but also online via browser. Cons What I like the least about the software is that I contacted support and they did not respond on time. The interaction with chrome can also be improved, letter size is not big enough for me. In addition to that, I love the fact that SYSTRAN Translate Pro recognizes dialects of Arabic and translates them too. I strongly recommend it. The free trial gives you 14 days but if you decide to pay the program is worth every cent. Pros I like SYSTRAN Translate Pro because of its functionality and ease of use. You can type the text and the translation will appear automatically. You can also upload a file (pdf, or word document) and the software will translate it in seconds. You then can download it and check it. If you need to translate a website, SYSTRAN Translate Pro gives you that option too. You can copy and paste the domain of the website and the software will display the translation to you. You can choose your professional domain on the top right side. This will allow you to choose the lexicon that fits your translation whether it is legal, generic, dialog, IT, finance, etc. Cons I love SYSTRAN Translate Pro. Like any other translation software you should always check functional words such as prepositions as these are the trickiest words to translate and they depend on the general meaning of the text.
