I love my experience. It really helped me when I was out of town find contractors and talk to neighbors about what was happening on the local level.

Pros

I love Nextdoor because it keeps me connected to all of my neighbors. I know what's happening in my area, and it's great for contractor recommendations, and just keeping the community in the loop.

Cons

Seeing all the missing animals. I think it would be great if NEXTDOOR created something in the app to help with the missing animals. I know people post links, but so many people are looking for their fur babies it would be nice to have a centralized place for people to communicate.

I’ve been a user for quite some time and will continue to utilize the program going forward. I haven’t seen a ton of advancement with the program. My biggest concern is those who use and abuse the platform, which is no different than any other type of social media platform.

Pros

I use this product in two different formats. Personally, I like that I can stay connected to events and announcements within my own neighborhood. On the work side, I am able to broadcast messages and announcements out to a specific geographical area.

Cons

1) The general search capabilities. At times, it is impossible to locate older entries, even after viewing them minutes before. 2) The users of Nextdoor can be quite ridiculous. Leaving responses open on posts can be quite the headache.

I used to enjoy the app in the city of Henderson,NV the Inspirada Neighborhood. I had no problems with the moderators. In the city of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina I'm on my 5th Suspension. I believe there is one moderator with HER radar on me, and swinging her rent a cop stick for all to feel. I've asked each time for feedback to get info on what I'm doing to break the rules, I get nothing. My hope fo not r this app is that it fails soon as it seems it won't take suggestions to improve.

My overall experience with Next door is pretty amazing, it has allowed me to find my missing packages/ alert/ get help when my dog has went missing.

Pros

I like how nextdoor allows me to see not just what is going on in my neighborhood, but in my surrounding areas.

Cons

My least favorite thing about next door, honestly i can't say i truly have one. I feel like the application is amazing.

There is a mob mentality against any slight bit conservative view on this app. The moderators are out of control in Western Massachusetts. If you are a liberal, then you will love this app because you will be part of the mob and be protected and supported by the moderators. If you you are independent or conservative then I highly recommend not using this app unless you want to constantly fight for almost every post or comment to stay up in the feed and be attacked by the mob. Let liberals stay in their little bubble or "safe space" they cannot handle the truth unless it agrees with their ideology. I've contacted support and the \[sensitive content hidden\] about this and sent many examples/screenshots and because of that, they banned my account again. It's crazy, so save yourself the migranes independents and conservatives...TRUST ME!

Local marketplace. Other then that, the hate is real if you do not agree with far left liberal ideology blatently displayed.

Liberal double-standard and biased actions displayed against conservative and independent views. The mob mentality is unconscionable against you if you do not agree with far left ideology.

As a marketer, I find Nextdoor to be okay overall, but the reporting tools are frustrating. The biggest drawback is the inability to access data beyond 30 days, which makes it difficult to track long-term performance or compare campaigns over time. I value the local reach of the platform, but the lack of flexible reporting makes optimization more of a hassle than it should be.

Pros

From a marketing standpoint, it’s valuable because people trust the posts—they’re not just seeing ads; they’re seeing real conversations and referrals.

Cons

From a Marketing standpoint, you can only view stuff for your neighborhood if you are registered. As a marketer, I can not see neighborhood posts unless they tag the company name.

Overall, NextDoor is useful for reaching the local people around you, to share your products and services with them on a local level.

Pros

Nextdoor is a social media tool that allows you to connect with local neighbors and people around you. Think Facebook for your community or hometown. You can create posts as well as schedule ads.

Cons

Nextdoor does not allow you to schedule posts out for future dates, you have to schedule them to post automatically.

I absolutely love it. I have used it to answer questions out there

Pros

I enjoy the fact that there are so many people out there just looking for different services and Nextdoor could be set to local or 5, 10 15 miles away.

Cons

I probably least like the fact that it seems to duplicate or permit users to post the same thing over and over again. A if the user was anxious to find clients, offer services. Sometimes I catch myself reading the same post over and over again. There should be a limit on repeat posts daily
