Pros What I liked most about iMovie was its sleek and simple interface, its ability to export to many different places and in many different formats, and its large library of pre-made templates and designs to jumpstart your movie making process. Pros As an independent artist (actor), I need to quickly edit and send audition videos. iMovie is a great, "free" tool (it was included when I bought on my Apple MacBook Pro) for producing basic videos. Compared to other video editing software that I have used like Final Cut Pro, Avid, and Edius, it gets the job done and is pretty straightforward. Cons The features for editing options are very limited. You can't get the precision cuts/transitions that you get with more expensive software, and you cannot manually choose the clip still photo. However, for it being a free app, it is still worth it. I love the filters and how you can put in the text and images. iMovie I have been using since my first iPhone and I am okay with it. The easiest part is putting in the videos. I also like it because it is a free software to use. Cons I have a least favorite about iMovie because sometimes the program itself does crash. It slows down a lot and what I also don't like about is not many video editors like myself use it to edit videos. iMovie sometimes does slow down. To the point I have to exit out the software and I have to start over on making the trailers I create for my books. Cons Troppo lento nel caricare file ultimati, talvolta presenta problemi nel salvare ed esportare lavori finiti veramente pecca di grande portata siccome le altre funzioni le svolge in maniera egregia. Importing media is a breeze. Once the media is imported the interface is really easy. Drag and drop things into place (videos, transitions, photos, whatever) and manipulate them in all sorts of ways. Split clips, separate video and audio, swap things around, it's a breeze. The only issue is that I feel like the options for customization are limited. It's disappointing, but if you want to get into some really simple video editing and have a Mac then it's a nice place to start. Pros \- Super user-friendly. Easy drag and drop features makes movie making seamless - Easy to put in transitions between video clips and photos - Put in a variety of text options, fonts, etc. - Importing media is really simple - Free with any Mac Cons \- The major complaint I have is that there's no way to move certain kinds of text around the frame. For example, if you like a banner type but want it in a different corner or position, you're SOL. Maybe I don't know how to do it, but I haven't been able to find it.
