Pros There's a huge market of freelance projects and freelancers available on this website. I liked how its approachable from any part of the world one can find any sort of resource. It seems like if we are filling up a form to apply for a job. Pros The most professional and good-quality freelancing platform. You can find the best-paying clients on Upwork Cons Finding work is really difficult here. There is too much competition here + it costs a freelancer paid connects to bid on projects. Asian writers are not admired on Upwork. The customer service is mostly busy they reply late and their policies are so strict to follow. Upwork is great for these type of situations. Cons Depending on what role you are looking to fill, it can be difficult to sift through all of the available candidates. It's a great product especially for a small company like ours. We can't always hire new full time employees so this makes it easy for us to find great workers to complete different tasks for us. Cons We really love this software so much, the only thing that I think could make it better is funds could be sent to our workers faster. Pros You can easily put the type of job you want. In my case I needed a writer that understood organic SEO writing and be able to handle a specific niche. Inputting all the relevant information I found a writer on the first try that I utilize every week if not for on article it's two or three and at a decent rate compared to other sites that promotes writers. Cons You need to manually filter through most applicants. Some know what to say for you to hire them but some of the work could be mediocre. Pros I really like that receiving payments through Upwork is very easy. Once the payment is posted I transfer it to my account and I am able to withdraw the money. Although I haven't used it for applying to a published job offer I have already seen a couple that really attract me. Cons Once I entered my bank account it was a bit challenging to change it. Will continue to use Fiverr and other places to hire contractors. Pros Experience with a contractor through Upwork left much to be desired. Was unprofessional and lied. I do not have trust in Upwork vetting their contractors. Cons Experience with contractor was unprofessional. She lied - and rather than saying she couldn't take the job she disappeared for a week.
