I have used WinRAR for several years and I have never had any issues extracting rar/zip files.

Pros

Despite the name, WinRAR can extract a variety of compressed files(zip, 7z, etc). The user interface is easy to navigate and files extract promptly and rarely gets corrupted in the process.

Cons

Over the years, I have not had any issues with WinRAR.

Very easy and does the job well. The faster your CPU, the faster your job is delivered / completed.

Pros

For me this is by far the best for a simple end user as me. You can compress and de-compress multiple file types mainly .zip &.rar , select the compression ratio, split giles at selected sizes, archive and email them and a lot more. It adds quick actions to the menu items where you can easily right-click a file and compress then email directly :)

Cons

$19.9 is a bit too steep in my opinion. True, you get a lot more than just to .zip a file but still its too much $$$&\*

Compression programs are the oldest utilities - perhaps older than antivirus software. In the past, low disk space was the most difficult problem for the user. We have a huge amount of disk space today, but if you want to email more files, Winrar is still the best solution.

Pros

Winrar is the best compression program in many areas: - adjustable compression ratio - fast and safe compression/decompression - password protection - self compressed files' feature

Cons

It's hard to say any wrong about Winrar. Perhaps advertising to encourage purchase appears too often.

It was good and easy to use, but it needs improvements in all fields, starting with the usability and main interface.

Pros

It is easy to use, works well and has appropriate price for the amount of possibilities it presents to the user.

Cons

Sometimes it would break or was unable to open an archive, even though it had appropriate extension and wasn't damaged ( I was able to open the same archive via 7-Zip for instance ).

I download very large files online to use, most come in a compressed format which makes WinRAR very handy. I also compress my software installers to make them not contact viruses, WinRAR also comes to my rescue here. It's just the perfect tool!

Pros

It replicates the File Explorer interface, making it very easy to understand and use. Free! Yes, it offers its features for free. File extraction, compression, archiving... All just comes in handy with WinRAR

Cons

I haven't really noticed anything wrong with the software since I have been using it. It works just as it is supposed to.

E' un prodotto windows, quindi è compatibile e perfettamente funzionante sui sistemi operativi della famiglia Microsoft. Consente una compressione buona di file di dimensioni importanti.

Cons

Il fatto che ci sia solo una breve trial version e poi si debba pagare. Sul mercato ci son oaltri software simili che ptrebbero togliere fette di mercato al prodotto in esame.

Its ability to split a large volume into several parts with fewer spaces to make it easier to move it online

Cons

The program supports all versions of Windows from the oldest Windows 97 to the latest Windows 7 and 8, as well as its support for Linux, with the availability of a specialized version for Mac and Android

La facilità con la quale è possibile gestire un gran numero di file è il vero punto di forza del servizio.Utilizzo WINRAR da quando lo notai su un vecchio Windows xp e da allora ho creato centinaia di cartelle compresse senza rimanere mai deluso.

It is all the time my best software for viewing compressed file, and it is straightforward. one can also use password for compressed file and this on is very usefull so any one kan share compressed file on the internet with a password so no one can get the file without password and WinRAR have a good Security.

Cons

there is a small problem with the repair archive feature wich is not working proerly.

The main feature is extracting files and my favorite part about it. It makes it easier for me to access zipped or compressed files also it pretty easy to use.

Cons

I don't like that after your 2 month trial ends it keeps telling you to buy the full WinRAR even when you don't have to.

Almost life long, very important software, especially on PC. Installing it is necessary for me, for archiving/extracting files e.x. before uploading them somewhere.

Pros

1\. Free: but, despite this, the software must be supported. 2. Compression: Good ratio. Useful for making large files smaller. 3. Easy to use: starting from download and finishing maybe with archiving/extraction.

Cons

Almost no negative sides, apart from slow extraction or compression, but it depends self on the computer and how old the hardware is.
