Educational Administrator Education Management Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Padlet helps harness individual input to share in a collaborative group setting" February 13, 2026 5.0 Overall, I was pleased with our experience of Padlet. It provided a way for our educational team to see everyone's input visually. We could add to the boards and update as needed. It became a great reference type document for us. Pros It was an excellent tool for group collaboration in an educational setting. It allowed multiple participants to add in their own creative thoughts and viewpoints in real time. Everyone could see as the ideas developed. There was a real sense of individual input and seeing the 'big picture' at the same time. Using Padlet has overall been a good value for money. It's features are helpful, and it is user friendly. Cons When we used boards with multiple participants, sometimes the collaborative input became a little unorganized and hard to read as a whole. Senior Lecturer in Marketing Higher Education Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Must have for every educator" March 24, 2025 5.0 I'm very happy with Padlet and I would encourage every educator to use it Pros I use Padlet on a daily basis and it's my favourite, to the extent that I became the Padlet champion at my university. It's simple and easy to use and it works well whether it's about social or individual learning. It's works with groups and all class activities too. I like the fact that students can post their answers anonymously because this creates a safe environment for them to participate in class activities. Students can post anything from pictures to text to file etc.. so it's very flexible and inclusive. I use it with my students not only for in-class activities but also for preps and even to interact with an existing content before our seminars. It's a great all round tool and every educator must use Paldet in one way or another. Cons There's no possibility to shorten the links. Although I use QR codes, links are needed for students who use their laptops to access the page. This means that every time I create a Padlet page, I have to rely on third party websites to shorten the link. This creates an extra task to do and I wish Padlet team look into this issue and allow us to generate a shorter link to make it more accessible to students Review Source DE Damilola E. It’s a cool tool that mixes creativity and structure. I’ve used it to gather ideas, run discussions, and get my thoughts sorted, and it has worked well for me. The pricing could be a bit high for casual users, but if you need a visually appealing space to collaborate, it's worth a look. I’d suggest it for teachers, teams, and freelancers who like to work visually. Pros Padlet is super easy to use and makes working together a breeze. I really like the visual setup, it's like a digital bulletin board where you can easily drag and drop your stuff. It’s great for brainstorming, planning, or teaching. I also liked that you can add images, links, and files right in without needing anything extra. It makes group projects fun and organized. Cons The free version has some limits, and you might hit some roadblocks if you’re using it often or with bigger teams. Sometimes, when a lot of people are on at once, the board can slow down a bit. My clients can all access it easily and the attention to aesthetic makes it perfect for fine tuning to the personal characteristics of the work we do together. Pros Padlet acts as a user friendly secure online portal for large, sensitive reports, full of beautiful moments and pictures of my clients and staff. Cons Padlets preview function mucks up the formatting on word documents meaning that my clients need to download the documents to view them properly and thi can look unprofessional. I've led PD for teachers using Padlet to make lesson collaboration spaces for instructional practice use. Pros I like that students can post their thoughts (in various ways) about a a topic of discussion Cons I like that Padlet has 3 free boards but, $99 for a year's use is quite steep for educators. The ability to connect Padlets allows for a lot of Flexibility. This year I noticed a new Padlet format discussion and I am using that in my online classes Cons On the Discussion Padlet it would be nice to have a teacher view to quickly look at new posts and replies based on a time frame. I love that students always have access to the dicussion board. Now students will have access to all the read alouds I use in case they need them! It is very user friendly for both teachers and students. Recentlty it has helped me save the content from Flip.com that I have collected over the past 8 years! I am very appreciative of that! Pros I love how this becomes a virtual discussion board that students always have access to. Recently I have been migrating my videos over from flip.com. I've always used Padlet but never before for videos. Now I realize I can do everything here. Cons I wish it was free! I'd use it so much more if it was. I migrated lots of content over. November 5, 2024 5.0 My Pros describe--I've used in my math and reading content teaching with 5th grade. I've also used extensively with my Adult ESL students! They enjoy using it, adding pictures and it enhances their writing skills. Love it! Pros Many different ways to use for teaching strategies/writing/math, all content areas at all different levels, plus the captivating backgrounds! Please add more captivating backgrounds! Cons Nothing! However, possibly, when you have updates to the different areas of the platform, it's a bit hard to adjust to the newness. Have used for years! Still want to use! So easy to use, and as a professional trainer, user friendly on the other side of a virtual call as well! Pros I have been mourning the loss of Jamboard since I first received notice that it was going away and searching for a replacement since. Sanbox is THE PERFECT replacement!!! Easy to use and share with some cool new features as well! I work as a professional trainer. Sandbox is A LIFESAVER to ensure I can get participants engaged and sharing thoughts and ideas easily and instantly. Cons It would be nice if there were more solid background color choices. I tried FIgJam and Miro first as these were recommended by Google. They were not user-friendly enough. My students love to share on our Padlet Walls, and it's never a boring lesson when they get to post and read their peers' responses. Because my students love it, I love it too! Pros I love that all students get to participate and can learn from each other throughout the day. Having unlimited Padlet access I can create interactive questions to help my students learn and be engaged, instead of just having them respond alone on a blank piece of paper. As private purposes, I use like photos galery to share with my family and friends. When my father was sick my sisters and I share all contenst that we found to help us to understaind his disease. I would highly recommend giving it a try. Pros Padlet is a great multi-tasker - the Swiss Army Knife of digital collaboration. Many features that are the central selling point of entire services exist within Padlet as just another option for how you create your space. I use Padlet for sharing, working with teams, submitting ideas, and even to gather feedback. Cons One downside of Padlet is the freedom and openness can mean that you have to be a bit more intentional about how you set up your space in order to get what you want. More options and flexibility is great! But it also means there's more to choose from and more to filter out.
