### "A Handy Tool for Group Work"

May 22, 2025

4.0

Overall, I’ve had a good time with Padlet. It’s a cool tool that mixes creativity and structure. I’ve used it to gather ideas, run discussions, and get my thoughts sorted, and it has worked well for me. The pricing could be a bit high for casual users, but if you need a visually appealing space to collaborate, it's worth a look. I’d suggest it for teachers, teams, and freelancers who like to work visually.

Pros

Padlet is super easy to use and makes working together a breeze. I really like the visual setup, it's like a digital bulletin board where you can easily drag and drop your stuff. It’s great for brainstorming, planning, or teaching. I also liked that you can add images, links, and files right in without needing anything extra. It makes group projects fun and organized.

Cons

The free version has some limits, and you might hit some roadblocks if you’re using it often or with bigger teams. Sometimes, when a lot of people are on at once, the board can slow down a bit. It’d be nice if they could make it work better in real-time and give free users a bit more space.

### "Beautiful and Safe online portal. "

June 16, 2025

5.0

Padlet is enabling and enjoyable to work with. My clients can all access it easily and the attention to aesthetic makes it perfect for fine tuning to the personal characteristics of the work we do together.

Pros

Padlet acts as a user friendly secure online portal for large, sensitive reports, full of beautiful moments and pictures of my clients and staff.

Cons

Padlets preview function mucks up the formatting on word documents meaning that my clients need to download the documents to view them properly and thi can look unprofessional.

5.0

we used it at my uni 4 yrs ago (AFTRS) and i fell in love with it then. i have been using it ever since

Pros

great journal entry/ mind dump/ place to store all things written that isnt iphone notes. i find my ideas get lost in physical journals/ notes app whereas padlet im able to highly organise my thoughts from years ago to now

Cons

the templates are very structured so no ability to sort as i would like. it would be cool to be able to sort things by colour, date, style, and then to go back again if that makes sense

### "Padlet- Great Hub for Collaboration & Learning"

### "Padlet as an efficient tool for CPD training"

October 31, 2024

5.0

Padlet is a user-friendly and efficient collaborative platform suitable for children and CPD training alike. Teachers also employ Padlet as a professional tool to document the shortcomings of digital devices, using it as a ticketing system, which represents another beneficial application in actual school settings.

Pros

Maximizing collaboration through Padlet in professional development, particularly in remote online workshops, allows for instant reactions and the ability to respond to article content. Interactive Padlet boards are revolutionizing traditional training sessions. The impact of Padlet on our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) experience has enhanced both the experience and the results. Moreover, building a strong growth community by engaging peers on Padlet for CPD training, as well as for courses on AI ethics and educational use, is proving to be effective.

Cons

"The AI image generator may not be as efficient as other tools currently, but it is expected to become more effective with time. I appreciate the AI improvements made to Padlet creation.

### "We LOVE Padlet! YES We Do! "

October 11, 2024

4.0

We LOVE using padlet in our library. Students are responding and sharing their ideas more and more each day. I love to see graphic representations and responses to other posts that may agree or disagree. I've led PD for teachers using Padlet to make lesson collaboration spaces for instructional practice use.

Pros

I like that students can post their thoughts (in various ways) about a a topic of discussion

Cons

I like that Padlet has 3 free boards but, $99 for a year's use is quite steep for educators. I sacrificed because our school is doing read alouds K-5 and we needed a way to capture student engagement throughout the lessons.

I knew the Padlet in the middle of 2020 year and since this I use for profissional and personal purposes. Like teacher, I share contents, exercises and stuff with my students. I think that is a great tool for many purposes

Pros

It´s easy to use, allow exposition of contents and interaction with the readers. It´s funny, humorous and versatile. It´s for free If you wish!

Cons

### "Padlet Student Engagement Tool"

September 13, 2024

5.0

I use Padlet each week to help my students be engaged with our classroom content and share their own responses with each other. My students love to share on our Padlet Walls, and it's never a boring lesson when they get to post and read their peers' responses. Because my students love it, I love it too!

Pros

I love that all students get to participate and can learn from each other throughout the day. Having unlimited Padlet access I can create interactive questions to help my students learn and be engaged, instead of just having them respond alone on a blank piece of paper.

Cons

That is really hard to answer. I love everything about Padlet.

### "Padlet Discussion Board Use"

November 1, 2024

5.0

Padlet is easy to use and a great method to inform and allow interactions

Pros

Our school uses Padlet to post all digital information and resources for our students. The ability to connect Padlets allows for a lot of Flexibility. This year I noticed a new Padlet format discussion and I am using that in my online classes

Cons

On the Discussion Padlet it would be nice to have a teacher view to quickly look at new posts and replies based on a time frame. So if we grade on day x and then do grading on day y we would just see a list of post and critiques made within thta time froma.

### "Padlet - A Digital tool fit for purpose and projection "

October 21, 2024

5.0

Really extends and strengthens the value of using this digital education and communication tool.

Pros

I am still learning about padlet, but for now I always wanted to make my webinar sessions come alive with a little narrative, relevant pictures, videos, student comments and most of all without discriminating special education needs students - SEN. Creating lessons with a touch of holistic learning using padlet as a digital education communication platform that makes interacting fun and engaging for the Class. Padlet allows us using the Universal Design for Learning UDL as an approach to Teaching and Learning that gives all students an equal opportunity. We are not leaving any learner behind.

Cons

Difficult to create new padlets as it latches onto the previous padlets and make it difficult to separate the different padlets.

### "Padlet for Creative Arts Educators"

July 11, 2024

5.0

Excellent, really. I do enjoy the updates that come through. They are often very useful and I have learned a lot of tricks and tips to add to my educators tool belt.

Pros

Padlet is a visually engaging, collaborative, organised and agile way of creating, storing and presenting resources. It is wonderful for presenting in an educational setting because students are able to access large amounts of information, attractively presented, in one place.

Cons

We have invested time as a department setting up resources over the years on padlet, it worries us that one day the company could fold or end, then where would our resources go?

It is still a learning process to know the in and out of using Padlet

### "Loving Padlet!"

August 7, 2024

5.0

I was introduced to it in 2019 and have found so many different uses for it in my face-to-face and online courses.

Pros

I love the many different ways I can use Padlet in my courses. I use the map feature to discuss periods and poverty in my sex education course; I use the video uploads for students to introduce themselves; and I use the picture upload for a qualitative analysis of culture in my gender roles class.

Cons

I don't like that I have to pay to use it in order to benefit from the uses I have for it, but at least it's tax deductible as a teacher expense.
