They have listened, implemented and changed the platform to be what their members need. I have loved Flodesk! Pros When I started using Flodesk, I had a small email list and truly had no idea if Flodesk would do what I needed if my list grew. Within a year, I had 5,000+ people to my email list with ease. My email subscribers love getting beautiful emails from me week after week and they won’t increase their pricing with the amount of subscribers you gain. Cons They are still tweaking functions. They will need to find a way to segment subscribers within specific emails versus workflows, expand on calendar organization and how to have all the functions of workflows within individual emails. The team at Flodesk is so helpful and has a quick response. The workflows are easy to set up as well. There's really no excuse at all, to not have email marketing in your business if you use Flodesk. Cons There's limited ability in what you can do within the templates themselves. If you're use to designing your own, that's not an option. But what IS there, I absolutely love and haven't found a need for other templates. Cons Some clients have found it difficult to move their lists over from previous providers due to the quality checks that need to be done, and support can be slow to respond to help on this. Pros It's easy to use, easy to learn, and easy to set up. Emails look gorgeous. Cons there's a lack of integrations with other software solutions. There's no public API and your only option for atomization is Zapier, a very pricey software. Also would like to see an easier way of creating branded emails. With any software that is new-ish, there may be some growing pains or glitches, but I personally have never had any issues with my sending/creating of emails to my list. Pros I love the "what you see is what you get" design features. The templates are beautiful and make designing so much easier, especially as an artist—I want my emails to feel like they belong with the paintings I create! The team is also very responsive. I've seen how much they've grown having started using the software early on in beta and am very happy with the core features they continue to improve upon to make the user experience even better (adding brand colors, folders for organizing, updated template library, resend to unopens, new metric dashboard, etc). Cons Can my least favorite thing be that I don't utilize it to it's full potential? I love everything about it. The entire experience from creation to delivery to metrics is so easy. The software is set up for success! Pros Not only is the software user-friendly and design-savvy, but when I got stuck with embedding a form on a website, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was right there in my inbox ready to provide support. When one thing didn't work, she offered new solutions each time with kind and helpful responses. I never felt frustrated or alone. It's a no-brainer purchase! Pros I love how easy it is to use and how beautiful the templates are. My strong suit is not design, but the Flodesk templates make me feel like I have a graphic designer in-house! You can design your own too. When it comes to pricing, it costs $38 a month with unlimited everything or $418 a year. It depends on your scale if you can afford this or if you'd like to choose cheaper options. Pros The best thing about Flodesk is their pretty templates. I haven't seen anything so beautiful when it comes to email templates in other providers. There's a 30 day trial too and i think you can have up to 5000 subscribers then. Cons It costs $38 a month with unlimited everything or $418 a year. I think you can get a better price with other providers, especially if you uses amazon SES.
