Manager Publishing Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Pretty Templates" June 22, 2022 4.0 Using Flodesk as your email provider will make you standout when you send an email to your subscribers because of the unique designs of their templates. You can design your own too. When it comes to pricing, it costs $38 a month with unlimited everything or $418 a year. It depends on your scale if you can afford this or if you'd like to choose cheaper options. Pros The best thing about Flodesk is their pretty templates. I haven't seen anything so beautiful when it comes to email templates in other providers. There's a 30 day trial too and i think you can have up to 5000 subscribers then. Cons It costs $38 a month with unlimited everything or $418 a year. I think you can get a better price with other providers, especially if you uses amazon SES. Review Source KH Kate H. It also means I get to use some of the ebooks and products I've created over the years as lead magnets. Pros Workflows and automations is what I love most. Cons I wish I could set up more brand colours and set up my own default fonts etc so I don't have to continuously search through them. I know about copying the email, but it would be helpful. It isn't perfect but on its way. Pros I love that newsletters are beautiful again. I also like that it is being built with a community and also the pricing is amazing when you are growing and have a bigger list size. Cons Customer service is not direct so a live chat would be great and also a service where someone walks you through the steps. I imported my CSV file from Mailchimp and sent out the first Newsletter which went well. The first week most of the emails were delivered, the second - and for a reason unknown to me - Flodesk suspended my account and demanded we supply them with our subscriber's information, date and the exact time they subscribed, and their IP address. I have only had to speak with customer service once JUST recently for something that was my own confusion and i was helped so fast by Sam. She cleared this up right away and i left our email conversation with not only my question answered but with the next 2 months free and a reduced cost for the lifetime of my subscription!!! Pros I love how easy flodesk is to use. I personally am not great at all with creating content like this but flo desk makes it SO simple it took me no time at all to figure out. Cons Im not sure this is a con of the software as much as its a ME problem but i do get frustrated from time to time creating my email if i want to do anything else other then filling in the blanks of the layout i chose. April 20, 2021 5.0 Pros I love the look of my newsletters and the ease of setting them up. Automations (on-boarding) were easy to set up as well. Flodesk flows very well and is easy to work with. The learning curve isn't too bad with all the help/documentation they have. There is a lot there to support someone starting out and for someone who isn't. And for help I've needed, I have had good quick responses. They have also been honest with me about requests and I appreciate that. I'm very very happy with Flodesk. Cons Customer service is seriously lacking. Account can easily get “flagged” for no reason. We have not even sent an email yet and can’t because our account was flagged for unusual activity. How could there be unusual activity if we have not even sent an email? Customer service was not helpful at all. Told us to verify our domain but the CNAME records they gave us were ineffective. Cons I don't like that there are no flows in Flodesk. There should be integration and abandonment flows that are technical, but easy to set up.
