I need not only the basic information, but most importantly, I now need phone numbers, as prospects rarely respond to emails anymore. Given the cost, it is a great value for the money. Prior to the renewal date, we notified Seamless.ai that we did not wish to renew our subscription. Despite this clear communication, our credit card was charged for another full year of service. After contacting customer support to request a refund, we were informed that Seamless.ai requires cancellations to be submitted at least 60 days before the renewal date. This policy was not disclosed clearly when we initially signed up and was only referenced after the charge had been processed. This 60-day cutoff seems designed to reduce flexibility for customers and trap them into another billing cycle, even when a clear intent to cancel has been communicated. We believe this is a deceptive and unfair billing practice. We formally requested a refund, but our request was ignored. To date, we have not received any resolution, acknowledgment, or refund. Pros We subscribed for a year. Unfortunately, the platform did not deliver results for us; we were unable to monetize or generate value from the service during our subscription period, despite using it in good faith. Cons Their policy requires cancellation at least 60 days before the renewal date, which we weren't initially aware of. While we assumed we had until the actual renewal date to decide, they use this early cutoff to lock you in, effectively shortening your decision window and leaving customers without real flexibility. The issue is in practicality, when you need to preserve your email credibility and deliverability, you can only use the emails that have been verified. After filtering through Seamless's results, you only get about 10% of validated emails from your search results. This mean you need use 100 credits to get about 10 valid email addresses. As they use up credits, even email is not validated. You ned up burning through credits way too quickly. According to this math, Apollo ends up being 10% of the cost, as Apollo only charges for valid emails. I'm, loving it! Cons Having a daily cap vs a monthly cap on contacts means I have to login daily to take advantage of my volume. It's not a big deal but it would be easier if that were weekly or monthly instead. The reason the mobile tool isn't great is that it isn't intuitive how to put in names and addresses and I waste too much time trying to get it to work.
