There are two important factors: 1. The Coastr team and 2. The platform. The team at Coastr is who you want in your corner. They are always actively looking for new ways to develop the product, speak with users on how it benefits the company and its renters. Honestly, there was a down cycle in the business and every step of the way the Coastr team worked with me. When the business is up they are supportive when understanding my vision and how we can get there. It is evident the team works from values to help users grow, manage and fine-tuned the business. The platform is exactly what I needed. It does everything I need it to do and more. I am always finding out new things available, mainly because they are proactive in finding new features that will benefit its users. I easily train my team on the platform. They provide more than enough support when issues or training is required.

Pros

Everything is in-house. The experience is seamless from start to finish which makes it easy to manage and easy for customers to get going.

Cons

In need of a more trackable way for 'do not rent' customers.

My overall experience with Coastr has been excellent — the platform is user-friendly and the support team is consistently helpful and responsive.

Pros

A support team that's always ready to assist with absolutely anything.

Cons

Inability to add or remove add-ons from live bookings, resulting in limited flexibility to make changes during an active reservation.

Pros

Great customer support to help you through the set up process. The software covers a lot of basses so will fit lot of different turps of setups.

Cons

Some areas can be confusing to use but the support team is very responsive and helpful.

My overall experience has been mixed however that is down to me as someone who is new to the industry and completely new to a rental agreement system in general. The system offers some incredible features and I really hope I can make the most of these when I have time to explore. The customer experience has been incredible and I feel extremely valued by Coastr which makes a big difference.

Pros

I think once you learn all the features and products of the Coastr system then its a developing and exciting product that becomes easier to use and manage. I am still far from knowing all what the system can do and there is regular updates which offer more to both me and the customer. I have received hours of help from \[sensitive content hidden\]. These two people inparticular have been incredible and gone far beyond the level and time of help any user should need. I often e-mail or call when I have an issue and it gets resolved extremely quickly, often with advice and set out points in how to resolve the issue myself the next time. I can honestly say the customer service I have received from these two people have kept me using the system.

Cons

I think for my particular business with less customers but more long term contracts and high number of vehicles per customer it became harder to set up as I wasn't able to attach any initial phots to the bookings. This obviously makes life difficult when they come back and there is damage however I understand the reasons behind this. Everytime a new booking is made the process is simple and effective. I also really wish they could link PCN (penalty charge notices) to the site.

Reasons for choosing Coastr

The introduction to Coastr by \[sensitive content hidden\] was excellent and I made my mind up very early I didn't need to look elsewhere.

It's a good system for being so young it's got some small things needing addressed witch are getting looked at or fix already. The Coaster Manager we have it's Amazing nothing is ever a problem !

Pros

The easy of navigation the system and the use of the app.

Cons

Rental Agreement layout.. but it's getting sorted in Q4 2023.

When I moved over from a ‘paper based’ system, it was seamless and I had one-on-one support at every turn. Unrivalled pricing and customer support. Regularly implemented updates, based on user experience. Fantastic product.
