Reasons for choosing Data Excavator I recommended the purchase of multiple Data Excavator licenses for an Arizona surveying and mapping company that I consult to. This company has employed Data Excavator to efficiently extract property parcel information from public agency websites, and in such a way as to significantly reduce the research time previously expended manually. We anticipated Data Excavator’s capability in this respect, and it has performed flawlessly. However, we also engaged the Data Excavator developers to provide additional functionality, and this is where the software’s investment has paid off many times over. As just one example, one public-facing agency would deny direct access to URL endpoints unless they were referred (and throttled) by the agency’s web server.
