Pros It's exceptionally well built so kudos to the product team. It takes away a load of headache from my perspective as a founder as I can handle all elements of our EMI scheme in one place. Cons If you dont know much about the EMI scheme its a bit of a headache to grasp, but Vestd are available to support you through that process. Less of a con about Vestd and more a con of EMI/HMRC as a whole. Review Source Andy G. The only company we saw with a direct integration to Companies House. Has definitely saved us hours of work. Great work team. Cons Some of the UX could be improved and there are other useful features they can add (such as more extensive cap table modelling). Undoubtedly this is to come. It's great to know the link to Companies House will mean we stay on top of all our reporting requirements. We've not long started using the platform and its taken quite a long time to set up given the complexities of our scheme and our admin, but so far so good. Huge shout out to James who has onboarded us. I'm sure he never wants to hear from me again as I've asked him about a billion questions, he's been so patient and has done his utmost to explain things to me so I actually understand things. Wouldn't have been able to do this without him because half the time I genuinely didn't know what I was doing! Furthermore, the support I get on Vestd is a world class and currently, I have had no issues unresolved and the resolution typically happens within hours. I could not have asked for better service. Highly recommended! Pros The onboarding with fantastic customer service - caring, attentive, supportive, understanding, going at my pace, and educating all the way. The platform; whilst initially daunting became easy to use through the great onboarding/screen-sharing support. It can do so much and save so much time, I am looking forward to using it more & more. I don't think a single problem of mine hasn't be solved which is fantastic. Pros It's much more than just a platform to issue share option schemes: a huge amount of our company's secretarial & administrative work as well as share modelling can be achieved with Vestd too and all under the same subscription Cons I think the product has a hard job to make complex products, especially because of regulatory requirements, accessible. They have taken the time to talk me through the platform, how everything works and even how EMI schemes work. Pros I like that it's user friendly and easy to navigate. Vestd took all the admin out of our hands and automated it. Also the presentation of the information and flexibility​ of the application made internal and external reporting simple and efficient . It was important to us to be able to issue dynamic equity and ensure everyone is rewarded fairly for their contribution - Vestd makes this easy through their agile partnerships function. Pros Vestd makes it easy for founders with limited knowledge of how to manage the equity within their business to perform what can feel like complicated tasks, with ease. It reduces the need to go through accountants to file changes at companies house and enables you to publish, share and sign board/shareholder resolutions immediately. The support we have received from the Vestd team has been excellent, and this has extended way beyond the product into how we manage our shares and company filings. Pros It is simple to use but at the same time offers a comprehensive management platform, plus the automated reporting is really useful. Cons Occasionally it can be tricky to find the exact admin screen needed as it isn't always obvious from the menu system, but the support team are always quick to point us in the right direction.
