SecurlyMDM Reviews
"Our teachers rant and rave about Securly"
Overall: Our teachers in the middle school and elementary schools love this and use it every day. At the high school we have not had adequate training on its deployment so that has been the main hurdle.
Pros: I like that I can lock the students screen (if that is the correct term) so they can only be on one site.
Cons: I have to manually go in and deselect the students that are absent or it will lock their screen as well.
"Great Potential Features, but Doesn't Deliver on Consistency "
Overall: Overall, it has great potential, but it just isn't reliable enough at this point to be usable day to day.
Pros: I like the easy to read interface and syncing with Google Classroom.
Cons: It is VERY unreliable. I usually see 1/3 to 1/2 of student devices at any given time. Often they don't load or say a student is offline. This may be due to some of the syncing issues with Google Classroom or our SIS, but there is no real good answer we've gotten for these inconsistencies.
