It has been overall GREAT. Pros I loved that it was convenient. It helped me be able to send money to family when needed and I felt trusted with my money with this company. It does everything I need it to and it is safe and secure which is my non-negotiable when handling money. Pros Love how easy it is to use and how safe it is! Safety is a major thing for me when it comes to payments and they are the gold standard. Cons It's becoming more of a Stone Age kind of app and most people use Venmo (owned by PayPal). My experience has been smooth and I haven’t had any challenges at all. I can easily collaborate and transact across the globe and it definitely made my life a lot easier than it was before in terms of managing my international transactions. I love PayPal and will definitely continue using it. Pros PayPal is a game changer for me especially in transacting globally. Most of the banks in my country do not work in other regions and in other countries and PayPal has helped me to be able to transact with anyone globally and has helped me manage my money a lot better. It has helped me get from anywhere in the world and I can easily transfer those funds to my local bank account Cons I do not have any cons on PayPal, it’s perfect value for money and it does save a need in my financial life because I was struggling to get a solution around this. I wish they would bring back the capital funding option for small businesses. Pros Customer support exceeded my expectations. I had an issue with the release of my funds buy they were able to verify me and quickly release my funds after my client paid his invoice same day. Cons I don't like that people without a PayPal account sometimes wont pay their invoice on time simply because they refuse to sign up for an account. Fortunately PayPal resolved this too by adding a pay as a guest options. Alternatives considered [Stripe](https://www.capterra.com/p/123889/Stripe/) Reason for choosing PayPal I chose PayPal over stripe because it was easier to setup and just as secure. Switched from [QuickBooks Online](https://www.capterra.com/p/190778/QuickBooks-Online/) I made the switch to PayPal solely because they have cheaper credit card processing fees. N’ayant pas d’opérateur disponible le week-end, le service a procédé à une avance sur fonds propres. Une partie du montant a pu être récupérée, mais il reste près de 300 euros en suspens. Or, malgré le fait que PayPal ait contacté le vendeur concerné, celui-ci ne répond pas. Et pourtant, on me demande aujourd’hui d’effectuer un remboursement, ce qui revient à valider et créditer une escroquerie manifeste. Je considère cette situation comme profondément injuste et contraire aux principes de protection des utilisateurs. C’est une honte. Pros Je tiens à souligner que j’apprécie habituellement les services de paiement en ligne pour leur simplicité, leur rapidité et leur accessibilité. La facilité de transaction, la fluidité des achats, et la possibilité de gérer ses paiements à distance sont des atouts indéniables dans notre quotidien connecté. Easy to integrate with ecommerce platform. Pros Paypal works great to link to our Shopify account and makes payment capturing super easy and secure. Their reporting tool is also useful. Pros With a doubt it is one of the greatest app in money transfer world , it really made money travel easy within different currencies. Cons The way they now try to make money.
