Cons High fees for credit card payments, clients are now unable to pay by credit card in Australia without an account. Also filtering past transactions can be tedious. Then i love that you can move money between accounts for a small fee along with you can add cash to the account as well at any participating retailers. I love that you can pick a monthly perk and receive cash back when purchasing anything from your selected category. Finally i absolutley love love the newest feature which is if you link your email accounts it tracks your packages from all over and keeps you updated on them!!!! Before that, I used it consistently. They’ve become pro merchant vs pro customer. I use it as a need based only tool. Pros I like that there are a lot of billing options & send money to individuals with PayPal for commerce transactions outside a traditional bank. Cons 1\. They will def allow reoccurring charges to you without notifying you or asking for your approval. 2. I sent money to a vendor once. When I tried to track it, they said they had the option of keeping it on hold for up to 6 MONTHS before releasing it. When I asked them just to send it back they wouldn’t do that either. It’s also been able to handle big or small transactions in the business I work in. Pros It’s not only a popular platform but also fairly easy to use and it seems quite legitimate. The turnaround time for payment isn’t very long and I’ve been using it for years with no issues, on transactions big and small. Cons I don’t find it to have as quick a payment turnaround as Venmo, and I also wonder if there are privacy concerns with Paypal. I have had some issues with scammers but customer support fixes it quickly and easily. Pros I love the PayPal debit card. If you use it for direct deposit you can get paid 2 days early. The customer support also helped me get my money back when I was scammed in record time. Cons It feels like it's getting easier for people to scam you using PayPal.
