I've never not received funds that were sent to me and always been able to transfer them fairly quickly minus the couple incidents mentioned above where my account was put on hold for no reason. I've been pleased with the platform and the majority of the companies I do work with pay through this method, which is my preferred method of payment. Pros Paypal is a simple way to send and receive payments, most of which for my business is all free. The majority of my small business income is received through this platform and it's been overall very smooth and easy. I love how quickly I can transfer funds and the wide acceptance of the platform. Cons Occasionally they have frozen up my account and held my funds without warning demanding more information from me about my business that I've already provided to them. It takes days for someone to manually review and resolve it, and they never find anything wrong. It has happened twice in just a few months and is pretty frustrating.
