Pay Pal works great in order to have international clients or family transfer money easily and fast. It's a life saviour.

Pros

How easy and fast it is to transfer money with low interest.

Cons

Some features aren't available in the app, only on the website. Some features available for USA aren't available for the Netherlands. It still doesn't work well with bolivia.

It is accepted at a lot of places and it pretty easy to transfer money around. It is the market leader so it has that benefit

Cons

They will sometimes hold money in your account and not let you access it if its used for a business and a large amount. This seems to be a issue that is rare but happens

I use PayPal to make most of my online purchases. I like that I can connect it to my bank account, but it provides an extra layer of consumer protection

Pros

I like that PayPal can be used from pretty much anywhere and that there are protections in place to lessen the risk of fraudulent charges.

Cons

I wish there were leas scenarios where there are fees taken out of payments received. I also wish that funds were able to ve transferred between PayPal and Venmo

for the majority of the time i found it extremely effective in money management

Pros

i liked the fact you can send invoices , send payments to visa direct or venmo and accept swipe paymemts as well

Cons

the security is great however it lacks unatuomated overides from custmer service representatives and inforces verification protocols that cant be addressed by sparsly available cusotmer service

Pros

Very easy to use, secure, and accepted by most merchants. Great for quick and safe transactions. Really liked it.

Cons

Customer support can be slow, and transaction fees are a bit high for small payments. Fees sometimes are another issue.

Just something that I only use when I have to. It’s more of a pain to deal with PayPal than to not. I’d rather use another service but when needed, I will use it.

Pros

Common system people use and is fairly useful. It’s mostly trustworthy. It’s nice that Paypal is found in a lot of places, but usually requires more effort than I’d like to use.

Cons

Just complicated. Not as easy as some other pay apps. It’s a bit of a pain to have to deal with. It’s not too awful, but could be improved. Just seems like there’s always an issue with log in, setting up payments, or too many processes to send or receive one simple payment or to pay with.

Customer Service is great, only had to contact them once- otherwise it is pretty easy to use and gives you an instant invoice/receipt for what you used it for.

Pros

I like that it is easy to use and provides a secure way to make payments. I love that I do not have to put my business credit card info online for purchases of training or supplies. It just transfers the money from my card to the vendor. I don't think it has even ever charged me a fee either. Great value, and offers great peace of mind.

Cons

PayPal emails me a little too much. Otherwise, I have had issues with it adding or removing payment methods.

If you have limited experience with payment gateways or want to give more universal access to a payment system on your site, PayPal is the way to go. However it is expensive, clunky and sometimes prone to errors. I personally will use PayPal on sites I haven't used before or for small shops because of the security it gives me as a consumer, but as a vendor it is sub-optimal with a lot of consumer drop off and errors.

Pros

Maybe the best thing about PayPal is the worst - it has a simple integration that you can plug in a lot of places but it just hasn't changed or updated to keep with the times. So easy to integrate but not worth the cost for a payment gateway.

Cons

PayPal integration hasn't updated in years and so it is clunky and looks dated and the experience of jumping through lots of pop-ups and higher fees made it a sub-optimal payment gateway compared to many others.

What I liked most about PayPal was how easy and secure it made sending and receiving money. The platform is fast, and convenient.

Cons

What I liked least about PayPal was the occasional delays or holds on funds. It could slow things down, especially when I needed quick access to my money. Some of the fees also felt a bit high for small transactions.

Pros

You don’t have to give out your bank or card info to every merchant. PayPal also offers protection if the item you bought doesn’t show up or isn’t as described. PayPal is almost everywhere online. If you’re shopping, sending money, or doing business, many sites already support it. That makes things easier.

Cons

If you want your money in your bank quickly, there’s often a fee. If you go with the “standard” (free or lower-cost) route, you may wait a few business days.

I think that one of the best things about PayPal is that it allows me to seamlessly import sales records directly into the accounting software thus eliminating the possibility to either make errors in payment tracking or "lose" records

According to my own opinion I might say business fees get to a quite hazardous level tying to the survival of one's company

It’s been great, anytime I’ve had any issues with purchases or needed assistance they were very helpful.

Pros

There is so much I like about PayPal. The convenience & ease of being able to use it for purchases as well as sending money to family or friends.

Cons

The only color that I have is that my PayPal has been hacked into like once or twice, but not since I set up the multi factor authentication.

Pros

Easy to use. Always available on my phone. I love the extra security that PayPal offers. It makes me feel better.

That they didn’t offer the pay in three payments deals sooner. It is so convenient. And I wish it would send push notifications when things go through.

Pros

Its really been a secure platform i have used to make or receive various payments easily. It is also a platform have used to order or make payment for various items or goods successfully. Good interface and simple to use. It also shows a detailed documentation of money received and sent or used to purchase goods on other platforms. I can also easily make invoices and monitor my transactions.

Cons

It is limited to few countries which often restrict me from making use of this software sometimes when am not in a country that supports paypal which has limited me from making payment at times.

It’s very easy to use and integrates seamlessly on majority of places I want to use it. My purchases are traceable and safe

Cons

That it’s not an option for payments to all countries. For example I work with some freelancers in Pakistan and PayPal is not an option
