We switched to processing with Stripe where possible. However, many donors still prefer sending money through Paypal.

Pros

Widely used to send and receive money and provides templates specific for nonprofits that are helpful in checkouts.

Cons

Extremely limited customer support. Users reported their accounts got blacklisted without an explanation, but Paypal still kept them open for years.

Pros

What I like most about PayPal is it's different payment options as well as pay in installment options.

Cons

I cannot think of anything at this time that I do not like about PayPal it has always come in handy for me.

Overall is good, I have been using PayPal for more than 10 years now... so it means it's okay!

Pros

I like the fast service for sending money instantly and being able to pay in 4x for online purchases.

Cons

I am not very satisfied with their customer service, sometimes it can be complicated to reach them. Also it might be tricky for new companies to gain some upgrades as releasing your funds unless you've reached certain number of sales or other 'accomplishments'...

Ease of use. It has been pretty consistent throughout my years of use of this app. I like that there are no surprises when I use it.

Cons

It can get a bit laggy at times, sometimes it crashes when I use the app on my phone and that gets frustrating.

The value for your money is worth it, there is great customer support, and the service is overall easy to use!

Shocked. Someone had set up a direct debit from my account, when I received an initial email saying that funds were not taken, I sent it to phishing@paypal.com and explained I did not know anything about it, that it was an unauthorised email, I thought a scam. One week later, they had debited my account for the same mob. I put in a dispute on grounds of unauthorised transaction. The response I got was that they deemed it was authorised by me! How can they say that when there is evidence I already told them I thought it was a scam! Not at all impressed.

Cons

Had an issue and found it very difficult to talk to anyone, they make a decision on what sites you have been to without any evidence and although there is a long list of complaints that a certain company is taking money without authority, they still don't believe their customers

PayPal makes online transactions super easy, and I love how convenient it is! That said, the random freezing of funds and the lack of proper communication can really be a pain

Pros

It’s straightforward to use, widely accepted, and lets you process transactions quickly while keeping track of everything

Cons

Having your funds frozen out of nowhere is frustrating, especially when it’s hard to get clear answers. The fees can add up too, and their customer support isn’t always easy to reach when you need them

Pros

It is easy to get a PayPal account and to set it up. PayPal can be used at a very large quantity of places.

Cons

They tend to side more with the seller than the buyer during a payment dispute. I have had a few disputes and not many have gone my way even after proving the seller was in the wrong.

Overall, PayPal is a good medium for money transactions but I wouldn't use it for regular banking needs such as a savings account.

Pros

It is very easy to transfer money. I can also use PayPal for invoicing payments and incoming transactions.

Cons

As it is easy to use, PayPal is also easy to cancel transactions. This can lead to charge-backs on incoming transactions.

Overall, my experience with PayPal has been very good. I haven’t experienced any frustration over any lapses so far.

Pros

I just started using PayPal recently and I already love the app. With PayPal, it’s easy for me to receive payment, buy and shop as well as send money. Most of the time I have received money with PayPal, I get it within minutes. Customer service is also top notch.

Cons

So far so good, I have not seen what I don’t like about PayPal. It has been very user friendly. I haven’t experienced system glitches, bugs or anything of that sort.

Overall I am a big fan of PayPal and would recommend it to anyone. It makes paying for online orders, and sending or receiving money from friends and family extremely fast and simple to do.

Pros

My favorite thing about PayPal is how simple it is to use. I am not very computer savvy but I had no trouble at all creating my account and sending money to friends and family.

Cons

What I liked least about PayPal was when I tried to add money to my PayPal account from my bank account. Although it was simple to do, I had to wait over a week each time for the money to finally show up in my PayPal account. This seemed like an excessive amount of time to wait.

Pros

I like that it’s accepted as a payment method in most places. This is especially useful if making payments in multiple currencies.

Cons

It is not always accepted as payment methods and isn’t implemented everywhere. This can make it difficult to use as a primary payment method.

Pros

I enjoy PayPal because it gives me an extra layer of security when purchasing items online. I enjoy using it as a customer as well as an employee that uses it for other customers.

Cons

I wish there were more options when it comes to paying one bill in multiple payments. I do enjoy that there is a 4-payment option, but I wish there were more to choose from.

Cons

I wish it didn’t take so many steps to access automatic payments. It’s location should be clearer. Certain transactions also cost a small fee.

Paypal helps businesses and customers with money payment transfers easily. They built their reputation for a long time worldwide. I mean, who doesn’t heard of paypal. However, with more ways to send money now a days, overall it’s a neutral experience from me as a user.

Pros

Paypal is a secure way to link your bank account online and be able to pay internationally.

Cons

I would say Paypal customer service is not that great. With the amount of transactions charges they will take from sales payment receive and money withdrawals, I think they need to enhance their customer service platform.

Horrible service, you cannot do anything because by law they are protected. AVOID PAYPAL!!!

Pros

Fast payment and easy implementation of the Paýal payment gate on the website

Cons

They blocked my account for no reason, froze my assets for 180 days altough I provided all they asked for. We are legit business.

Pros

Easy to see how much money is in account. Easy to see who you have paid. tracking is easy. Seeing who paid you is there.

Cons

Transferring to bank can be a pain. Not as easy as it could be. Takes to long to get to other back account
