Founder E-Learning Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Don't Even Bother" March 19, 2025 1.0 Overall, its been quite a negative experience and would not refer anyone to them. Pros Its a fairly easy and quick sign up process. Cons I consider myself an honest person. I don't cause issues. I do what's right and help where I can. I dont break the law and do my best to follow the rules. Yet somehow, Paypal has treated me like I'm the bad guy. Like I'm doing something wrong, something fishy and so they proceeded to close my account. I've never had more than $50 in the account and never even used it more than just a couple times. So it gets me thinking‐-isn’t there much bigger fish to "catch" in the sea? Those who are actually scamming the company? The measly $50, that I obtained legally obtained, should be no cause for concern or throw up any big flags. I am wrong about that. Pros Yes, Its great that we can accept payments from anywhere in the world, As a Freelancer paypal helped me Expand my business to grow outside India. Cons The charges are just too high, If the charges are are high for inernational Payments than its undestandable but for Same country that's High, Paypal Need to Take care of that. Cons That it literally just up and freezes your account for taking a payment when it’s literally what the account was for. They let a bot run security with no override option a lot of times. Even Payoneer provides with more flexible option to withdraw your hard-won money. Pros It works well, and it's supported across most countries. Its interface is appealing as it is one of the most popular payroll products out there in the market. Cons It's overly expensive to transfer money when you're not transferring to another PayPal account. It's easy to set up and widely recognized and used. Pros Secure easy payments. It's easy to hook into bank accounts and various credit cards. It's easy to receive payment as a 1099 employee. Cons Constantly having to MFA in is kind of annoying. No matter how many times I "remember this device" I still have to MFA. But those FX fees, they really hurt. I have experience with setting up Paypal for business, and that was also easy, web intergration also easy, but the fees were also fairly high, FX rates crazy again, but overall experience is good, and the amount of people who use paypal is a big plus. Pros Easy to use, fairly nice UI these days, overall UX is good, fast transactions, balance withdrawal also fairly fast, big support on websites, easy to integrate. Cons Outrageous FX rates, using balance vs switching a card can be confusing during checkout, fairly high fees for business. Review Source CK Clayton K.
