Pros PayPal makes it very easy to accept payments from clients worldwide. The setup is quick, and using their SDK and manual it was quite simple to integrate with our system. Funds usually arrive fast and can be transferred to bank or credit card with just a few clicks. Additionally, most everyone I know has a personal PayPal account. The more people who have it, the more robust it inherently makes PayPal. Cons This has only happened to me maybe once or twice, but what I like least about PayPal is the fee you pay if you do not send and receive funds to friends and family members. Never had theft or someone access my account unauthorized. I feel it is a safe system to use and can add the Mastercard to your wallet. I also like they have the Pay in four options and you can change your PayPal credit into a Mastercard. Cons I have had a couple of instances when I used PayPal Credit and it debited my checking account instead. I lost £180 usig paypal instead of credit card. I bought a pc which had been tweakedwith scripts to appear higher spec. After 2 mths and an os update it revealed its true spec. Paypal did not refund me for this fraud. I will never use paypal again after 22 years. Up yours paypal... your huge loss. Pros I have been using PayPal for many years and it is very easy to use. It is the only platform I trust to send and receive money from due to the extensive security features it has. Cons I would say the downside to PayPal would be the fees, especially when it comes to international sales. Cons While paypal is a great platform, it can be a bit of a pain to use when dealing with international currencies, especially when transferring out of an account. The only issue i think could be worked on is having your credit card account credited when funds are transferd into it instead of taking forever. My other credit card does this and i see the balance xhnaged immediately. Pros I think Paypal is userfriendly. It has a progressive way of engaging with me in terms of functionalities. When i initially registered, there are services i would not use. However, over time, this has changed. I think their study of user behaviour is unique and the perspective to usability and service provision is outstanding. Cons I think users should be able to generate their own statement of oaccount. I know there is a filtering system but this does not allow statement generation - only for viewing. Secondly, when creating pool, it's difficult to insert your own image to the pool - it's either too big or too small and the image becomes terrible thereafter. Something should be done. It is extremely dependable in terms of transferring money, yet the fact that none of its features is incorporated into task tracing, requires us to reconcile all the invoices cleared with the production schedule of our factory manually. Pros The convenience in terms of the invoicing processes is incredible, and our sales department can easily create and transmit professional payment requests to our foreign distributors of ceramics. Cons The high cross-border transaction cost does not give good value to us as our B2B volume increases and the customer care is aggravatingly slow when we face some unforeseen bugs and problems when it comes to processing complicated refunds in case of damaged shipments. Cons When PayPal acquired Zettle, a payment system I used for vendor events, it made the hardware I was using obsolete and I had to purchase new card readers. This company has really gone downhill and extremely unhelpful that will waste lots of your personal time Pros Nothing after my experience trying to resolve an issue they caused after my account was hacked and I filed a dispute. Cons After being a customer for years since the early 2000s, PayPal customer service severely let me down and I’m furious with my experience. My account information was hacked and I’ve gone a month fighting back-and-forth without any resolution or updates from the dispute after catching it and trying to resolve it. My account was limited and was not accessible has taken five months of fighting just to fix it out of my time and disputing them the ridiculous amount of my personal time and frustration is not worth being a customer or dealing with this company anymore. It’s severely gone downhill and not trustworthy as a consumer. I can’t speak enough about how poorly the company has become the terrible customer service to resolve any issues.
