Only issue honestly is the instant transfer fees Pros I love the ease of use, and the new integration with Venmo is a winner! I also like the ability to send invoices. We also use Braintree by PayPal for the business Pros Customer Support, Ease of Use, Invoicing, Customization. Those are some of the best feature for us. " January 27, 2026 5.0 PayPal gave me an opportunity as a business owner to set up how I pay vendors and how vendors pay me. I did not have the backend system to do it as a one man show and PayPal gave the assurance and it has been a great partnership. They have stayed innovative and strong over the test of time. Pros PayPal has provided for me as a small business owner to invoice and track expenses and revenue. The platform takes the guess work out of how to get paid and what is being paid in my business. As an owner who prides himself on giving the user experience the white glove service, having this platform allows my clients to experience the best. Most issues were resolved, however, i wouldnt generally recommend. Pros The ease of transerring funds and the small fees. That helps fellow small business owners financially & conveniently. It's easy to understand and navigate. Pros I like that PayPal is easy to navigate and understand I like that you can link other accounts. And send money from Peer to peer. Also that I can transfer money into my account. Cons There's nothing that I found that I didn't like except maybe for the fees for transfers and sending to someone that doesn't have PayPal. My sister in the UK can send money directly to my PayPal using my email or username, and I can transfer it to my Canadian bank account in about three business days. Linking my bank was simple, and the process is secure. I also use PayPal for online shopping, and Pay in 4 allows me to pay for purchases little by little. The Split the Bill feature is helpful for organizing shared expenses. PayPal has become one of my most reliable financial tools. Pros What I liked most is how easy it is to receive money internationally and transfer it to my Canadian bank within a few business days. Pay in 4 also makes online shopping more manageable. Cons What I liked least about PayPal is that some features, like Pay in 4 or Split the Bill, are not available with every merchant even when PayPal is offered at checkout. If paypal is acceptable in the vendors payment process. There wont be any extra charges. Such as flight ticket purchase with singapore airlines website. Extra layer of protection for online purchases. Cons Some phones and browsers aren't compatable with paypal login. I might be wrong as it only happens on my phone. I have not had any major issues with the setup. Pros PayPal has a simple interface that is easy to use and I can seamlessly send and receive money to my friends and family from one app. Cons Sometimes the funds come from my bank account instead of my PayPal balance which is tricky. I also like how user friendly it is and the security is great and at the same time not too annoying. Cons I don’t like how long it takes for customer service to resolve disputes. May 5, 2026 3.0 In general my experience was good, but those setbacks had an impact in how I use the platform. I still use PayPal, but I'm more careful when it comes to large projects or time sensitive payments, in order to avoid major setbacks. Pros PayPal's interface is quite easy to use and understand. I've been using PayPal for making and receiving payments for a while now, and it's been for the most part an easy platform to use. Cons I did encounter a few issues in the past. I was once unable to claim a payment due to PayPal requiring documentation on my end, which, while I appreciate the heightened security, their automated process had an issue in which it wouldn't accept the document I was providing, even though it met the requirements. It was also hard to get in touch with a customer support agent that wasn't AI, which made communication a lot harder than it needed to be. In the end, I was able to resolve in my favor, but in a delayed timeline which had a big impact on my finances for that period. I have used it many times for payments with friends, family, and other payments such as the pay later service. Pros What I like most about PayPal is the ease of use and being able to send funds easily. PayPal for me has had my expenses completely managed and sorted well. I am able to use it as I like and customize my payments as I like. I have also spoke with their customer service and it was very easy to get my situation resolved. The app has also never had any bugs from when I used it. Cons What I dislike about PayPal is really nothing at all, I personally have not had any issues aside from calling customer support because someone had not sent me the funds I needed. I have never had any extenuating circumstances. In fact, my account was hacked once. It was a scary experience. I thought I had lost around $400, I reached out to Paypal and they immediately took care of it. I didn't have to wait a certain amount of time to get the money back. I know I can trust Paypal to make situations right. Pros Paypal makes payment quick and easy. I love that I have the option to immediately transfer the funds to my regular bank account. I also like that after I have received payment for services, that I have a Paypal Debit card that I can use and receive rewards for using that gift card. Cons I do not like that if I have less than $75 in my Paypal account, I cannot pay at the Pump for gas, that I have to go inside and do pre payment. Getting a bank feed set up is best! Pros It's really simply laid out on the web so you can easily see what's getting paid out and refunded in. As well as the ability to add a feed to Xero which will send everything in, love that. It's also good to see which account a payment has come from if a client uses more than on bank account. Reports are in-depth too Cons I can't see anywhere that you can get a running balance of what you have sitting in your PayPal or holding accounts apart from your current balance. Pros PayPal is one of the safest payment gateways that I have ever used. I like how PayPal protect sellers and thus I do nor have to worry when offering products and services to my clients. Cons Even though my personal account has a withdrawal limit $250 which is too low, the company PP account has over $58K limit and that would be of the issues but it is not. Nach mehreren Problemen mit dem Käuferschutz kann ich sagen, nie wieder. Pros Nichts mehr. Dieses Unternehmen macht irreführende Werbung mit Käuferschutz. Dieser Käuferschutz ist aber abhängig, wie PayPal den Fall einstuft. Man kann Glück oder Pech haben. Ich empfehle PayPal nicht. Ich werde in Zukunft ausschließlich nur noch meine Kreditkarte benutzen. Da hat man auch einen Schutz. Cons Bei einer Problemmeldung gibt es nur 5 Auswahl Möglichkeiten. Efficient, well run, professional website - CS is available if needed and responds quickly. Pros I use PayPal for my side business of providing future predictions. It provides efficient monthly billing, never an issue with payment. Cons Really nothing in the last few years. Pros I like how user friendly PayPal is and that I am able to use basically any of my other payment platforms seamlessly with it. Cons I don't really like that the debit card charges a monthly fee in order to use it regardless if there is money in the account or not.
