I love that it's available in numerous countries. Also, I can send money or shop in different currencies freely. I have recommended it to anyone looking to process money overseas. Pros Using it is very simple and safe. The fact that you can pay with a credit card with PayPal is something I love. I usually use it to receive money from my children overseas, and I can easily withdraw money to my FNB bank account. PayPal allows you to send and receive different currencies - that's pretty cool, I must say. With PayPal's mobile application, I can access it anywhere and whenever I want. Occasionally, I use it to buy items that are not in my country or order food from UberEats. Cons There is nothing too bothersome. Pros Paypal is excellent for making payments anywhere in the world without banking restrictions. It processes payments quickly and allows you to cash out as well.Its interface is easy to use and asks for the necessary requirements to make it a secure application.It works in almost all countries. Cons The commissions are very high compared to other platforms, especially for Latin American countries.The customer service is very awful, they are extremely slow to respond. It did what you would expect from it. Cons It has become almost useless, super expensive to use, no customer support, they literally say "Unfortunately, telephone contact is currently not possible. It is only available in special cases." The chat is hopelessly slow, and they can't help even if you manage to chat with someone. They will do everything they can to clean you out. All to please the shareholders, they clearly did not get the memo that the customer is king. Their app took months (with our help) to properly function. Paypal.me does not work any more, and you can't have your own money send to you in the currency which is available on their platform, they always want to convert to EUR and take 5% (again) and they seemed to have sacked all account managers to make more profit. Pros Before using Paypal, I heard a lot of users with positive review on Paypal, so I downloaded and tried it myself. It's incredible. you can add many different cards to your account. Also, Paypal is a well-known app that most websites provide Paypal payment. Users just need to confirm your identity either via your email or phone number to make the payment without inputting your card number, and knowing your information is secured and protected. Paypal also provides confirmation to any payment you made, if you don't make the purchase, simply contact customer service to cancel that error. Beside online payments, Paypal also provides cash back on certain purchase. After more than a year using it, I think it's worth the try and stay open mind to try something new. Cons Everything is good except the cashback program on Paypal and Honey. I wasn't sure how this work. I thought if you active the cashback offer on Honey then it will be automatically linked to Paypal, but it's not. These two are separated. It is mediocre at best. Pros Overall the app did what it was advertised to do. I was able to make and recieve transactions, track my activity, and shop from within the app. The one unique thing I really enjoy about PayPal in particular is the fact that have built in conversion rates when sending to individuals who require foreign currency. That particular move is incredibly convenient and something most if not all other money sending apps have. Cons I did not like how buggy the app is overall. Almost every time I worked with the app I found that there was some sort of glitch if not the entire app crashing on me when trying to work with it. Even when time to time appear issues and the more than 3% commission is not low, but keeps in the industry standard. Pros I like that makes easy online transactions. An it gives a lot of confidence to customers, and allow many transactions that otherwise may not take place. It very worldwide accepted, but in many countries not working. And there are many skeptical customers to use it. It looks like when using it sales increase about 10%, but many customers do not want it, so better to have it as alternative. Cons Time to time appear problems, where they are completely unable to handle in a way that makes sense for the seller. And then in 90% of cases the end is that seller just lose the money and the product. And it happens after many discussions, as they give the impression that are going to solve, and there is some security, that happens not to be not. You can get a "Credit Card" linked to your PayPal account so you can use your funds anywhere credit cards are accepted. PayPal has a good reputation if you run into scams/have been scammed, and there are no fees associated with having the card. You can have an email sent whenever you use the card, so you get a digital receipt, and there is an app to use for your PayPal account, also. You can also get an email whenever you receive funds into your account. All-in-all, PayPal is a great service to consider using. No hidden fees, no hidden catches, and pretty much anyone 18 and over can sign up for it. I would definitely recommend it. Pros PayPal is a great service to use. Easy to set up and figure your way around. All you need is an email and a good password (don't go with an easy one!). You can sync it up to your bank account and verify it (that is just as quick and easy to do, also). Sending and receiving money is simple, also. Very user friendly in figuring out how to send money (where to go, how to put in all the needed info, and send). Receiving is just as easy: give the person/company your email address that you use and they send it. It takes little time for it to show up. Once it's in your PayPal account, you can use it! There are an ever-expanding number of places that accept PayPal online, and if you run into trouble, PayPal has your back. You can even get a card that will deduct funds directly from your PayPal account, is accepted anywhere Mastercard is accepted, and you don't have to worry about ever being overdrawn. There are no fees or anything involved with it, either! Nor do you have to have a minimum amount in your PayPal account to have to card or use it. Cons PayPal's website can be a bit confusing in figuring out where to go to send money if you're not very computer/internet literate but if you keep clicking you can figure it out without too much stress. If you aren't familiar with technology, you could run into problems. Contacting PayPal can take some time and I don't even know if there's a way to contact a human. The PayPal software is basically my one-stop Banking Institution for almost ALL my needs, all-encompassing. They offer EVERYTHING from credit cards to business loans and everything in between! Dan the CEO really knows what he's doing and PayPal has NO COMPETITION at all! Nothing compares to everything that comes along with choosing PayPal to deal with whatever financial services you need rendered! Cons Dan their CEO created the MOST out-of-control Artificial Intelligence Cyber Security System that runs PayPal (and most of planet earth, by default). This system has its own mind and makes its own decisions without human intervention. If this system decides to take a wrongful unjustified action against someone, the chances of having it "overridden" are about 5% at best....and this is ONLY when you are dealing with the top-tier (closest to corporate C-Suite managers) in Nebraska for assistance....and getting them on the phone is NOT something 99% of the human population has the capability of doing. I happen to have that capability, but even so, "their tools" in "Nebraska" can't help 95% of the time when their AI system has wrongly and unjustly made its own decision! The most useful feature for me is the 30 days money back guarantee, severytime I buy something on a website I pay using Paypal so that if something happens during shipping or the product is not as described I open a dispute so that Paypal freeze our transaction until the problem is solved, if the problem is not solved Paypal help me recover my money. As an Ebay professional seller it's the easiest way for my clients to pay with one click and place their order. Cons As a professional Ebay seller I think taking fees for every transaction is excessif but I can't imagine working on Ebay without Paypal as a default payment. Maybe Paypal can offer a solution for Professional Ebay sellers to pay a monthly fee instead of transaction feesit would be more like a partnership between sellers and Paypal. It's near universal acceptance online makes it almost non-negotiable for web sales and it is a powerful ally for the small business owner. Pros When I first started my online business, Paypal was one of a handful of options that allowed me to customize the checkout experience for my customers, while giving me some flexibility in other areas. The problem was that it was a little clunky and stiff and I ended up using the competition, though I kept my Paypal account out of necessity. Since that time, Paypal has really evolved and their product has grown into a solid piece that our company uses for various transactions. The expansion into mobile sales (where your phone or tablet can become your register) and the ease of which you can transfer money between your bank account and your PayPal account is fantastic. And naturally, PayPal can be used anywhere and major brick and mortar and online retailers using PayPal makes it widely accepted on and off the web. Cons PayPal transaction fees for business account are slightly higher than those of other companies, and the transfer between PayPal and a business account sometimes take a little longer. These are minor differences, but have been significant enough that we have primarily used another product for our company's sales.
